  1. That's cool with me. Yes, it does have a Ferrari look to it. Funny you mention that, I played Forza a lot and I made skins for Lamborghini Aventador based on the Skull Squadron VF-25s. I was working on a skin for the Ferrari 599XX based on the VF-27, but I never finished it.
  2. I agree, in gerwalk mode the VF-27's lethal bird-of-prey appearance is even more pronounced. Thanks, I was very pleased with that shot. I took a bunch of shots to get it to how I liked. haha no waxing, that just the natural shininess. Thank you technoblue! I am trying to keep my photos from getting boring, so as I learn more I try new techniques for the pictures, but I do keep the standard shots too. That is a good question, either choice is good. You can make a DIY light box, and use the camera you have for now. I have seen some really nice shots just using a camera phone and a light box. From there you can decide if you want to take the plunge into the photography pool.
  3. I am glad they are including them, I just hope those are prototype parts in the video and the bracing parts are molded in black when it released. Either way the YF-30 looks good and can't wait for it to join my squadron.
  4. Thank you for the video! Interesting... That's the first time they have shown those bracing pieces, I can't recall seeing them in the previously posted pics.
  5. You thinking of the standard light LED strips or the type that you can change the color? I have seen some displays using the color change LEDs and they can make the display quite dramatic.
  6. That sucks even more because it MISB. Glad you were able to get out of the dungeon of despair with the help of armored set.
  7. Thanks no3ljm! I would get that color scheme too. Mommar & Sildani here's a few more pics.
  8. Nice! Space Pirate Captain Ozma and his well equipped Meltran friend.
  9. Thanks Falcon, that should help with the hunt.
  10. Haha... I can't quite recall but I vaguely remember a pillar of light beaming up from the figure to the sky when I opened mine, then waking up and seeing VF-25S in full armor on my coffee table. LOL The VF-25S deserves its own shelf.
  11. Awesome! Did the figure glow a golden light when you opened the box?
  12. Congratulations!! Just keep looking at Ozma when you open up that cc bill.
  13. Just take your time and don't rush it. I was working a paint issue with one of other figures, I got anxious and it didn't turn out well, so I had to redo it again. I am on the hunt. I have reading through Jenius' guides, its just trying to figure out which were the bad builds and good build of Yamato VF-1's when looking around online. I know I'll get one, I just to make sure I don't go crazy on the purchases. LOL, the stork shows up every month with a new addition to the family. You are a lucky man Loop.
  14. Here are some fighter mode shots I took a while back, hope these will be ok for now. I added the battriod pic from the latest shoot.
  15. Thank you everyone! The VF-27 is my favorite Valkyrie of the Macross Frontier series because of its lethal evil looking design. The "renewal" figure could have been better but none the less its still awesome looking. I am still learning photography as I go along. I am planning to work on a guide when I have some extra time. I have some older photos of the VF-27, I am just not happy with them. I was going retake photos of Gerwalk/Fighter mode but didn't have enough time. I would like to get a Grace 27 and also a low viz and yes Fighter and Gerwalk mode photos are on their way. Thanks! Yes, I am using a light box, but I try not to use much light. I know that sounds strange. When I have some extra time I'll write up a guide.
  16. Thank you Jenius. Its not you, there was a bit of a green tint in the photo. I have adjusted the photos and its a bit better now.
  17. Hahaha! Understandable, its a pricey figure to risk the chance of damaging it. I just bit the bullet and transformed my YF-19 for the first time (a few days after I got it), and then a second time to take pics of it. It remains in fighter mode now, but if I want to see it in other modes I just look at the photos I took. On a side note, I am considering making a coffee table photobook for myself.
  18. Nice poses! I have one of those mini VF-1's, and it the only VF-1 in my collection. Can you post pictures of the spillover?
  19. I am the opposite my Ozma is forever in fighter mode, Battroid mode for special occasions. I am too, I have an Alto and Michael waiting to get Tornado Parts installed. Armored Parts look look great, I was happy to get them.
