  1. The same goes for here in Seattle.
  2. When you did it, the was the angle as bad as the first image I posted? LOL great clip. I think if you use the full youtube url the site shows it as a video window.
  3. I have updated my first post with the mileage information on the Valk so people don't think that this a common issue.
  4. That is what was happening to mine, the VF-25's wings were not sagging but the Tornado Parts didn't fit snug so they just pivoted at the attachment point and sat at more of an angle.
  5. Hahaha... nice one Gakken. I thought of this "To see dem purchased before you and to hear the lamentations of the collectaas" The Riddle of Bandai... I have the same wish, that's why I have prayed to Crom... lets hope he listens.
  6. She got some cosmetic surgery done and now she's strutting her stuff. I agree, they could have designed the parts better. I bought this Valk used off Mandarake. I haven't checked, but I have a feeling the the slots on the underside of the wing have been worn down and are not holding the tabs on the wing parts.
  7. Not sure if its the same for everyone else, but that's the way it is with mine.
  8. I really like this shot. Oh and the stand is making its appearance again.
  9. I bought this Valk used off Mandarake. I haven't checked, but I have a feeling the the slots on the underside of the wing have been worn down and are not holding the lower tabs on the Tornado wing parts. Here is a fix I did for the sagging wing parts for the VF-25 Tornado Parts. When attaching the wing parts to the VF-25 I noticed that the upper tabs (on part) click into into place and then sag (pivot) down because the lower tab would not fully seat into the slot on the under portion of the wing. To remedy this I placed a piece of folded paper between underside of the wing and the Tornado wing part. The wings looked much better but the piece of paper wasn't very pleasant looking, so I went ahead and made spacers out an ABS strip and it worked nicely. Materials list: Plastruct ABS Strip grey .8mm thickness (any thin plastic will be fine, to test this fix out I used a piece of a grocery membership card) Hobby knife. Metal ruler Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) Cutting mat Photos: Before: After: Process pics: This is to be done to both the left and right Tornado wing pieces, I only photographed what I did for one side. I cut the ABS strips (1cm wide x approx 2cm length) with hobby knife. (I went with angled pieces because I was bored, a straight piece will work just as well.) The plastic pieces would then be glued to the area indicated in the photo below, with part of the piece on the inner edge (towards fighter). The Plastic piece is glued into place. Not sure if everyone has the same issue the Tornado wing parts, but for those that do. I hope this helps.
  10. I know it will probably not be, but it am hoping the 25S is a web release... I shall pray to Crom. Crom... so grant me one request. Grant me a web release! And if you do not listen, then to HELL with you!
  11. If you missed something, so did I. I tried to get it in that same pose when I was taking pics. I was able to get the tail support extension to touch the ground when foot extension was collapsed into the leg. Judging from this pic, it appears the torso is rotated towards the back a bit. Great pose!!
  12. I think its worth it. Like some of the others have said the Tornado parts look great in fighter mode, but has balance issues in Gerwalk and Battroid mode.
  13. Yes, the Armored Parts does come with brace/stand connecter but I like the Tornado brace because its smaller and harder to see.
  14. I have been meaning to start a page/thread for my photography that includes tutorials, but this thing called work gets in the way all the time. I am still learning as I go and not a professional photographer.
  15. Hehe.. that pic will be uploaded to my flickr page along with a few others soon. Yes, Valkyrie Magnus is a friend of mine and the person who got me restarted in Macross collecting, and it nice have a friend/collector in the same city. That sucks you are the lone wolf Macross Collector or Delaware, hopefully someone turns up. I haven't seen his full collection, he brought over a few valks I wanted to take pics of and a bunch others. I was extremely impressed at what he brought over. I be processing photos throughout the week, so you'll see them on my flickr page and I'll post a few here on MW.
  16. Thank you for bringing over some of your great collection. It was my pleasure taking pics and seeing some really rare Valks I may never own, but at least I have pics of them.
  17. Awesome! Thank you CY I really appreciate it. Thank you Swoosh, I hope you get your call soon. The wait would be driving me crazy.
  18. Shukenzero, I am always looking for ways to improve my shots thank you for the tip. I was wondering if anyone would notice The gunmetal gunpods looks so much better. You are awesome CY! Yes, it would be identical to the one included with the Tornado parts. That would be great if you could model it and make it available for sale I'd buy a bunch of a few of them or if you had them in sets too.
  19. Thank you, I really like the Tornado Parts. It's awesome to look at in fighter mode, they look good in gerwalk and Battroid mode. Hope you get your set soon. I am going to some armor mix and match eventually, for now I am going to leave it as it is. Post pics of your armor configurations. On side note, I find that crotch brace it comes with is very helpful with the Tornado and Armored parts to keep the Valk from collapsing. Does anyone know if there is a shapeways piece available like that brace? I'd like to get them for my armored VF-25.
  20. Excellent write up no3ljm! I give you credit, I don't think I have fit guts to attempt the pull off that shoulder cover. Knowing my luck it would have ended in disaster. Haha
  21. This looking better and better, but not so good for my bank account.
  22. This is good news for me, I be needing stands and hoping for fast packs.
