  1. Glad I posted then! I got one just now, so I'm up to 3. Hasegawa really knows how to move extra plastic by putting several build/decal options in one box.
  2. Hasegawa 1/72 VF-1J Super/Strike Valkyrie 'Black Aces' is restocked if anyone needs one. https://www.hlj.com/1-72-scale-vf-1j-super-strike-valkyrie-svf-41-black-aces-hsg65782
  3. I'm excited for it, I'm glad Hasegawa is doing one alongside the Regults and Queadluun-Raus. But I do think the front of the pod looks oddly shaped, and I really don't get the addition of the texturing on top of the weapon arms. I'll be too lazy to smooth out the arms, but I do wish they were smooth. Right now I feel like I'm looking at the front end of some pistols when I look at the arms.
  4. Yup. Have been getting most of my Bandai stuff (Macross, Armored Core, Gundam) from my local shop. Just takes a while for them to get stock. I'm not in a rush, I'm just annoyed that I can't get the stuff at japanese retail price and then save up for one big shipment to save on shipping cost like I used to. Buying stuff local is definitely more costly. But I do have a big pile of Hasegawa and Plamax stuff waiting to ship, so there's that.
  5. No such luck I fear. I'm just plain old fashioned backordered.
  6. Lucky again, mine are backordered.
  7. Do you just, like, click on pre-order seconds after the pre-order is made live? I've always pre-ordered before the pre-order period closes, and usually within a day or 2 of the pre-order going live, but I never get anything. Now that I think about it, I think I was able to get one YF-29 Max. Not the YF-21.
  8. I only ever got one of the Bandai 1/100 kits (YF-21) from HLJ successfully. I still have a pending Fire Valkyrie order that's never been filled. I cancelled my YF-19s and YF-29s long ago after I got 3 each locally. I have no hopes. I don't know why I bother placing orders for these with HLJ anymore. Good luck though! I had slightly better luck with the Armored Core VI 30MM line. I never got my orders for the first wave of kits filled (orders still open and pending at HLJ for those), but HLJ did ship me the kits from the 2nd wave. 50% success?
  9. Lucky. My 3 Mirias and 3 decal sets order is straight to backorder. As usual.
  10. So it's a similar annoying situation as the max/miria 1/72 VF-1 variables from Bandai.
  11. I'm assuming that you could build this as a non-armored Nightmare Plus, with ordnance? I'm just wondering why the very first release didn't have the ordnance option. And does anyone remember if they announced a blue version of the Armored? Or would I have to combine a standard blue version and Alto's Armored to get a blue Armored?
  12. Newer Bandai VF-19 kit other than the HG? What's that? Do you mean the old Macross 7 line? I guess it's true they redid the Fire Valkyrie. No new VF-19S sadly. Still... i don't know if the old VF-2SS is bad enough or popular enough for them to think it needs a redo. I'm not even sure it would be improved on. The old kit requires swapping a few pieces, and with the new approach the HGs are using it might need even more parts swapping. I have a lot of fondness for the old kit with its nice box art, and poster on the back of the instruction manual. I don't think HLJ would have trouble selling Bandai VF-1 because its a VF-1, they'd have trouble selling it because it's Bandai. Just like they have trouble getting decent stock for the other HG Macross kits, Gundam stuff, 30mm Armored Core kits, etc. But other company's VF-1 kits (Hasegawa, Wave, Plamax) are easy to get on HLJ.
  13. But Bandai already did a 1/100 variable vf-2ss. I doubt they'd do a new one when they can repop the old one. Unless they're done with the line already, I'm hoping for vf-11, vf-25, and vf-31 in the hg parts changers series. Might be avoiding vf-1 because of Wave.
  14. 1/72 variable VF-2SS from Bandai or 1/72 fighter and battroid kits from Hasegawa would be awesome. 1/48 VF-2SS fighter from Hasegawa would be a dream. I like the Macross II destroids a lot but unfortunately I suspect we'll never see plastic kits of those. I'm oddly indifferent to VF-2JA, and I just don't dig Metal Siren at all.
  15. Time will tell I guess. I'll welcome any new-mould in either 1/48 or 1/72, fighter or battroid. New gerwalks welcome too of course. But YF-21 is near the top of my list for 1/48. Not sure if I want that or 1/48 VE-1/VT-1 more.
  16. The 1/48 YF-19 w/ fast pack is officially out now. Got my private warehouse notice from HLJ.
  17. VF-171EX Armored Nightmare Plus is out. Got my private warehouse notice from HLJ a few days ago.
  18. EDIT: moved to main Hasegawa thread
  19. 1/48 Dullahans would be great. I feel like it's been a while since they created a new squadron scheme for any of the VFs though.
  20. I'd love a 1/48 VF-0, VF-25, or VF-31 series. All can be milked for variants.
  21. Sure but.... Hasegawa has had a lotta years in which they could have done a VF-1D battroid. I wish they'd milk the battroids like they milk the fighters...
  22. Yes. And a 1/72 VF-1D battroid. They have a 1/72 fighter and even gerwalk, but no battroid.
  23. Very nice box art. Maybe we'll get that 1/48 YF-21 someday.
  24. I snagged the Bandai 1/72 variable version, but I wouldn't mind a fixed mode Hasegawa or Wave kit. Never mind, I was thinking of YF-25.
  25. If there aren't official alternate schemes, Hasegawa has been known to make up decal variants.
