i had thought of doing this conversion but i wanted to make the "fingers" actually fold. i dont like the parts swapping. with the folded arms it doesnt look much different you just get the WTF factor when you see the things come out.

Jet Li is Missing after the Big Earthquake
HWR MKII replied to chowyunskinny's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
yes he did. but i thought he passed on a few years ago. -
ok but what are they? are they full kits or kits to convert the already existing frame between the 3 defender, tomahawk, and phalanx? i have done alot of serching and have not seen these things before. i like destroids and would like some good well detailed ones. i have a 72 scale defender and wouldnt mind 3 in the same scle.

i hvnt seen these. what scale are they?

sorry for no updates recently. im having trouble with the gel meduim. always test something new out before you waste alot of material on it. the gel gets foggy when its too thick. i may have to go for a type of polyeurathane or shellac to do the water. so cross the gel meduim off the list. its still good for puddles and such just not things a quarter inch thick or more.

no they have nothing to do with macross you must be thinking of that "other" show. this if anything belongs in other anime/scifi. not trying to sound negative but i saw this topic thrown up all over the place. this is MACROSS world not RT.com. . yes there are fans of both shows out there and there are small parts of the site dedicated to southern cross and mospeda but in the end they have no relation to macross s far as story or mecha.

i told my wife what my hobbies were when we first met and that i would not give them up for anything. that was almost 3 years ago now and she has actually contributed to all of my hobbies. she buys games i have even gotten her to build a model or 2 that she likes. she has even bought me models and knows very well what anime is. she even loves macross as well she says its an animated soap opera with action. have you tried to get your wife interested in your hobby? also have you shown anyinterest in hers if she has any? the whole youll embarass me thing is pretty thin what is the reason she isnt telling you? if she is asking just to keep HER social standing with her friends then it sounds like she may need new friends. i dislike people who only see others by their material posessions or get their outlook on them from said posessions. its like "oh you like video games and anime. you must be a nerd". ok so alot of us like these things. look at the people we meet and communicate with through these. you must reach a compromise man. there is no need to trash your collection just for the sake of her coworkers. sean

that old thing dates back to 1995. got it in texas for 30 bucks. its been stripped and repainted since then to more accurately represent the studio model. oh and customs didnt stop me to look at my stuff since i had military orders and my id card so my valk didnt get inspected thankfully. morons would have probably broken it. thats a nice well rounded colletcion dilaton. im looking for a new AAV/LVTP7A1 with applique armor myself. i had one once but i presented it to my brother. he was infantry in the marines and got to ride in them alot. the kit that comes with the armor isnt made anymore from what i heard.

the problem isnt that people are asking the prices they are its the fact they know that some fanboy will pay out the nose for it without doing a little searching. look up star wars model kits. some jokers are asking 145 dollars for a plastic kit of the falcon. does it fly and can i fit in it?

thats just from the past 3 years. i lost a few when i moved from utah to england. i hand carried te 1/48 valk though. my dropship didnt survive.you can see it under the 3 big tanks. i can rebuild it i have the technology i just wish i could get a new part or 2 from SMT.

ive gone through more bottles of german dark yellow than i want to think of this year. youll see why in a few pics.

i know this isnt the for sale thread but does anyone have an extra tomahawk in 1/72 scale they wouldnt mind parting with. partial construction is acceptable. my defender is getting lonely. ok ready for this? alot of built kits some need finishing touches.

ranger please dont ever scare me like that again . it wouldnt be possible to do that to a super ost or an elint because the only 2 points of contact are at the rear of the pack. those 2 variants dont fold their fins over when they put the fast pack boosters on. even weaker than a standard fast pack.

someone looking for me? actually the MKIII from macross 2 does look mean. i need that one and the clawed land crab MKI both in 1/160 though to go with my ARII model im a destroid nut if you cant tell.

there are machines that can carvr the design out of acrylic or compress it out of a fine plastic powder that sitcks together. some machines can even make 2 or 3 piece assemblies that are moveable. 3D printers rule i got the chance to use one at my college in ft lauderdale. one was even used in JP3 where they make the sound cavity for a raptor. these things can make almost any shape solid or hollow.
