A very big thank you to Myersjessee and all those involved for making these kits available. Since Scand is doing his buildup on the 21 i will focus on the 19. The kits do not come with instructions but most parts only fit one way. There is light flash on most parts but that is to be expected from a recast. Im doing this as a build guide to someone who is new at resin modelling. I have built many resin models in the past and i have to say that the parts breakdown is unique. Another area i will be tackling is the red "sensors" on the nose. i will be forming replacement covers out of clear acetate and removeing the solid pieces. After i remove the solid pieces i will be installing sensor looking bits and installing the sensor covers. The cockpit is actually better than i thought. The only drawback is the seat. The origional mold maker used an injection molded seat for his master but i will be correcting the detail as best i can. Another piece i will be adding is the clear green bit that sits behind and to the left of the pilot. I have yet to see anyone add this part to their kit. I will also be adding a throttle and side stick assembly. More to come tomorrow with pics of a basic parts breakdown. But now its off to bed before another 12 hours at work.

Perhaps you are stronger than the Emporer thought? Yeah and kids will get freaked from its stare.

Safety tech aside though it used to be the 18000 price tag was for the "badass" car on the market no matter the manufacturer. now though a companys baseline car with no options is 18000 and the car itself isnt even worth it. We are paying more for name than product. i thought things were supposed to get less expensive the longer said thing was around and the more common it became. Look at DVD players. in 1997 when they first became available they were 500 to 1000 dollars for a baseline one and now i can get a dual region,DTS capable HD output one for 40 bucks. you think internal combustion engines and the mechanics behing your run of the mill car have been aroung over 100 years so what are we really paying for. Waht makes that HUMMER worth 100,000 dollars, or that NISSAN so expensive. its all in a name. Sorry for going on a tangent everyone just tired of seeing the price keep going up on things that arent that great.

WOW! Thats alot of plastic. better not drive too near any hummers or the pressure wave off the front may blow you around. i still dont trust newer cars. Too light and cost too much for what you get. Even the new SMART roadster is going for 18000 dollars over here. and its barely bigger than an old 70s mini cooper.

i think another reason it isnt being as well recieved is the fact after playing through the first one and getting used to all the eye candy that was there your actually able to "see" the game. no pun intended on the suprising amounts of blind characters in the game. i stated before that this is another game in what will probably be a big series. part one was to set up the current galaxy as seen 4000 years before epi1 whereas part 2 will expand a bit further part 3 will probably be the best one once it comes out. i like how this story is a little spookier than the first. from the ominous start to the 2 sithlords who defy all known uses of the force. one is a force black hole and the other uses the dark side to keep himself together.

ill try thr mine trick before i head into the complex. I was also considering going into solo mode then stealthing and lobbing ion grenades at it. same way i took out the rancor in part 1. Keep away and throw things. i just need more grenades and i have no chemicals.

You are correct sir!! Take it and run VF19

I have that same feeling in newer cars as well. They feel "flimsy" somehow. there is also too much plastic in them. I know these cars are designed with crumple zones and such but the car shouldnt dent as you lean against is(99 mitsu mirage). the thing dented in and i wasnt even putting all my weight on it. Right now i own a 79 camaro(needs work) but i drove it from utah to florida in 5 days with no problems. ive had it for over 3 years and have had no problems with it. only paid 1,000 for her.

the monte weighed a little less than the T/A and was also designed as a sprinter"fast over short distances" the T/A though once it was in high gear on the highway look out. i also understand where your coming from about the monte. im just saying back in the day when the SS was powered by a 396(chevelle,camaro,and others) those cars were unbeatable. technology has given the edge to newer cars but apply that same technology to the same T/A and your looking for trouble. performance also isnt dictated by CID alone its also the gear ratios in your transmission and rear end that help. all the cubic inches and horsepower in the world do you no good if you cant get it to the road.

right now im stuck on the tank droid so i have to restart and get more grenades made because i dont have enough chemicals to make them in the old facility. i plan on going to dantooine asap to get the saber underway. i believe that this story is just the middle of a long series planned by bioware. the only way to make the series better would be to get the origional sith wasr writers for dark horse comics to write it. i know there arent any huge revelations compared to part 1. that would be tough to top. i still think that twist still beats out the "I am your father" in ESB
-
I just got this last week and i have to say it makes ESB look like EP1 in the way it starts. Ihad a chill seeing the Ebon Hawk drifting with a gaping hole down the right side.

Scand. since your doing the build up on the 21 let me have the privalage of doing the buildup on the 19. i have a technique i want to showcase on making the sensors on the nose clear red.

Why yes, yes it is. I guess that ends alot of peoples confusion to what car was used to make it. 1974 ford falcon. www.madmaxcars.com sells them at least they sell the baseline coupe but they do make special orders so you can order one made to look like the movie car. As a side note the actual movie car is over here in england.
-
The only real SS cars in my opinion were the ones with the 396 CID motors in them. Nowadays they just slap the SS label on anything with a 350 CID motor. 396 is what made the first SS cars.

unless you live in england?.....actually you should be able to buy the projector in the states too.
-
SWEET!!! Where have you been? i havnt seen you on here in a bit. Or am i going blind?
-
16:9 is still too small to watch it on. What you need is a Hitachi LCD projector and get a 10' x 5' screen going on. Only then is this series at its most impressive. Or am i just spoiling myself?

i didnt mean to insite a debate on quality. any classic car around nowadays is far from stock with all the remanufactured parts out there or replication patrs that have the faults designed out of them most of the older restored cars are as reliable as any new cars these days in MOST not all respects. the true quality of a car comes in how you treat it. how many guys say they think a certain car is crap because they had one and the motor blew on it . what that person didnt tell you is that he was using the car for a reason it was not designed for(street racing) most cars are made for long distance course racing not quarter mile, piston ring friction causing, bearing scraping street racing. if they are designed for racing or performance at all. the 1980s aside(bad years for all auto manufacturers) alot of american cars were well made. this being an automotive thread i thought it was open to automotive anything but since i said the nono A word. i just didnt see anything besides the Viper for american cars. sure the chryslers and pontiacs are on there but chrysler is now part of daimler/benz and chevrolet is now part of ferrari.

Does noone believe in such classics of horsepower as the Camaro,Firebird,Charger,Challenger, Baracuda,GTO, or pre late 70's Cougar? Does a car have to have a Japanese or German name behind it these days to get people to see it. Not trying to stirr anything up here just not everyone thinks cars like the Skyline are the best. Been there driven that and ill take my Maro any day.
-
Danm snail mail. i still havnt gotten mine yet. i was hoping to have them by this weekend. its a 3 day weekend. looking good though it lets me see where ill have to put the most work into it. did you get the 19 as well or just the 21?

looks like someone painter MR TATER heads shoes black then made the rest of the parts form sculpey.

ok well. the answer was 3 bullets total with one redtab. extra credit was a radioactive warning symbol on the tip. Next question. What Element are the Orbital Frames from Zone Of The Enders made of.

Nah. The techies are just jealous that HG hasnt sucked the release rights up into that copyright black hole they call robotech. The first time i saw DYRL i only knew of RT. After seeing DYRL? i had to see the origional Macross i knew that the story had been hacked and mangled. So i started sucking up all the Macross i could get my hands on. This was back in 1995 before the days of bootleg DVD and an all access internet for downloading stuff. I managed to get my hands on a VHS fansub of the series, loved it and havnt looked back since. DYRL? was in unsubbed japanese and i still understood what was going on. Sorry to all those who think that its eye candy. if a non japanese speaking person can follow the story without knowing the origins of the it than i think the story was pulled off very well. sean
