  1. Dropship is having issues so i decided to shelve it for now. BUT i brought this back out and can see the light at the end of the scratchbuilding tunnel. The Octo Tank from Venus Wars. Its about 80% complete needing the left and rear sides completed abd fine details. But it is almost there.
  2. Why yes....Yes it is, I have the APC in scale with it to boot.
  3. That looks really good neptune. Clean finish too. This beast is on my bench at the moment.
  4. The VF-0 Battroid kit came molded in a similar off white/greyish color.
  5. That would be great. HMM makes me want to build another monster. A Minmay Guard one
  6. Just remember, Smaller scale=smaller chips.
  7. its easy. Get a good reference like heavily used construction equipment or military vehicles. Study how the chips are and the types of edges they form on. Next get a 000 or smaller sized brush. Dip it in dark grey or a gunmetal metallic type paint. Keep a good point on the brush and lightly dab it on the model. Be sure to concentrate on edges and high wear areas. Also try to put a few chips on the flat areas of some panels to add a little variety. It is literally that simple. Mo masking or actual chipping on the model is needed its all paint.
  8. I dont want to rush this perfection Luke.
  9. I have had money for this set aside for a LONG time now.
  10. Looks really good P5. Is it me or did my chipping technique inspire you Also am i the only person besides Mike to build and finish his monster?
  11. (Mr Burns) Excellent (Mr Burns)
  12. These pics are for mike. Allow me to introduce the "Destroid Lineup". Im also still working on hand painting the chest art for the blue Phalanx.
  13. i may try to come this year. now im back in utah. i may even have the RC SV by then.
  14. about 5 hours total. including decals.
  15. The paint chips were added using a 000 or smaller size brush and just dabbing on the dark grey paint. Really easy to do. Next ill be finishing up this monstrosity.
  16. I can take some later with the monster, Phalanx, and defender. All thats needed now is a spartan. I will be replacing the defender soon enough though.
  17. PMs recieved.
  18. Ill be sending the payment on the 15th Luke.
  19. Thanks Warmaker. Got some more pics of the leo as well. Got it outside the other day.
  20. You arent the only one working on a tomahawk
  21. They arent really advanced as far as construction but they require a good hand at finishing to make the best results of the detail in the kit. Hasegawa has always had really fine recessed detail that can easily be lost under a coat of paint. If you do get one of the older kits please dont let that put you off building. Just remember that they were designed in the early to mid 80s.
  22. Keep it up and dont stop. This is really good work. All you need now is an SV-51 Gerwalk to complete the scene.
  23. Very nice. Actually one of the better ones i have seen. Might want to resize the pic though.
