Do yourself a favor and don't bother with Yamato's stock stickers. Here's just a few links where you can get more info on takatoys' and Anasazi's excellent products: Link 1 Link 2 Link 3

Yep, I fell for it. You'll have to forgive my ignorance since I've never played the 2036 game. Please don't stone me; I do a fine job of that myself! LOL! But it still looks cool, dammit!

They all look great, >EXO<! Especially the 1A with the whole "Predator-jaw-thing" goin' on! Hell, I may have to try to make one of those myself!

All I can say is, "Damn, that's an expensive Battle Pod!" Link -
They pop up on eBay every now and then. I don't recall the actual price, but I think it's somewhere around $400.

Is it just me seeing an optical illusion???, or does that Valk's ass on the boxart look weird?? If you think the boxart is weird, you've never seen what's inside. The actual product is the absolute worst representation of a Valkyrie ever created. Joke Machines and Morphers at least have a certain novelty (to some, anyway); this thing is nothing more than another HG abomination. However, this toy does make HG's MPC line look like masterpieces. And frankly, I'd rather have the buyer waste money on this and leave the Yammies for those who truly appreciate them. -
He became toast when the omni-directional barrier overloaded. His fat ass slowed him down too much and he couldn't avoid the blast. Oh, you were speaking of someone else. LOL!

I think the only differences are that the 9-disc set includes the hologram card and the big box (obviously). I'm not sure, but I think the liner notes for discs 1 through 8 do come with the three small sets. I could be wrong, so don't take this as gospel. Unless, that is, you want to worship me as your new deity. The discs themselves are the same. You mentioned cost on eBay; in the last week and a half alone, a MISB (still shrink-wrapped) 9-disc set sold for $406 with about five bids and a used collection of the 3-disc sets sold for $75 Buy It Now. I paid $164 shipped for a used 9-disc set like eight months ago and it's been worth every penny. And I apologize if I offended anyone with my previous post. At the time I was certain it was a joke question and my comments were made in jest.

What's wrong with my Yamato, Bandai, etc.
Die, Alien Scum! replied to UN Spacy's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Yes, it's made to be done that way. Just don't use excessive pressure and you'll be fine. You may need to twist the BP9 a little bit to get it underneath the tabs, but it'll go. You can see in my pic that mine is a little crooked. -

Try pushing the BP9 past the tabs like shown below. They lock it into place so the backpack won't flop around. This is a necessity if you want to use the "neck brace" for added strength when adding the Super/Strike boosters. If the tabs won't hold, I'm not sure what you should do. -
That "Platypus" is so fugly it's almost cool! Looks like it's got an inoperable brain tumor and a severely-inflamed prostate! LOL!

This is why I come to MW; to read Agent ONE's posts so that I know who all the girly men are! ROFL! -

The Official Yamato VB-6 Monster Thread
Die, Alien Scum! replied to Montarvillois's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
More like the Alpha giving the monster a rimmin.... The Alpha never impressed me. I always thought it licked my ass! But I've got to admit, after seeing all the pics, I think I'll have to break down and buy a Monster. It just looks too damn cool to not have. -
But shouldn't they have entitled it "Viva Komilia" instead? Komilia Maria Fallyna Jenius is how Miria (this is how I spell it, regardless of accuracy) introduces her to the Zentradi. And to add fuel to the fire, is it Komilia, Komillia, Komiria, or Komiriya? LOL! Just kidding!

That can't be true. In episode 30, Max is shown wearing an apron that reads "Max and Millia", with two "L"s. Of course the English translation on my Animeigo discs refer to that particular episode as "Viva Maria", so I can see why there's confusion on the subject.

The Official Yamato VB-6 Monster Thread
Die, Alien Scum! replied to Montarvillois's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Based on what I've read so, I don't know if I can justify spending anywhere near MSRP for this (same for the Max Q-Rau). Yamato's QC standards are already flaky at best, and the Monster's minor engineering flaws only make it less inviting. Yeah, I'm a valkaholic and it looks cool, but I know I'd transform it once and then leave it displayed in Battroid mode forever. Of course, this means I'd have to get a pair of plexiglas heel blocks so it would stand up straight like in Yamato's early stock photos. You can't kill the enemy staring at the ground! Leaning is a sign of weakness, soldier! Sound off like you got a pair! What the f*** is your major malfunction, numbnuts!? Oh... sorry about that Gunney flashback-induced rant. Anyway, hopefully more people receive their Monsters soon. Maybe we'll all find out that the one Graham's got is the exception, not the rule. -

This guy's got all the Low-Viz and if you want one, you must PAY! Auctions I've got a hard time believing he's really got 41 of them. I've got an even harder time believing anyone will pay $700 for one. -
Check it out! Castle Wolfenstein, the early years! Beta testing, maybe? That last line of the description cracks me up! "Frankly, we think it was foolish of the Krauts to allow us free run of their so-called top security prison in the first place but we imagine, like so many German waiters, zey ver only taking orders."

McFarlane files for Chapter 11

I can only assume that Tony Twist really, really needs the money. He retired from hockey several years ago and, at least for a short time, worked as a hockey analyst for ESPN. If it weren't for the fact that he was one of the biggest goons in modern hockey, no one would even remember him. He wasn't very skilled in the facets of playing the game, but he could beat the crap out of anyone on the ice. Way to waste the time and resources of our judicial system with a moronic and utterly needless lawsuit, Tony Twist! I see you're still an arrogant ass! -

I paid more for my Low-Viz valks than I wanted to, but this is unreal. I've got serious doubts about it selling. -
