  1. ^ lmao.... I'll take your word for it! Seems like owners are in favor of the CMs!! Is $150- shipped a good price for the blue CM?
  2. I wonder what is Yamato's thoughts are on the Mospeada line? I do see potential for them to pick up where CMs and Toynami left off. That Rook protoype from Beagle would put a smile on my face for years!!
  3. ^ I'm confused... is Sue Ghram and that one purple chick from Shadow Chronicle the same character??? Anyways, someone mentioned that the 2nd run was fixed
  4. I'd wait 10yrs if Yamato can make one in the same style and grade as with their current Macross line. Especially the version 2 1/60 I just have a hard time why they can't pick up Mospeada as there seems to be a good amount of fan demand. I think I'll start with the CMs first. If I see a hughe discount on the Toynami then sure
  5. The more I watched the video reviews and reading the pros and cons, I come to a better understanding that both seems to have their goods and bad. I don't think price is the issue because I just want the most definitive one that is best all around. Initially, I thought the Toynami was good but it seems the Beta was its strong point and its scale. Again, I don't have any in person either so my decision is purely on the video reviews and Anymoon's reviews and of course MW members that have comment in this thread. Overall, I'm leaning mor towards the CMs and I will take it from there. Either way, these the the next best thing in the Robotech/Mospeada toy adapation we will get. I'm hoping that one day Yamato will pick up this franchise like they did with Macross
  6. ^ I'll take your word for it V. Okay...... so now I'm leaning towards the CMs
  7. Okay, what's the drone version???
  8. Thanks J! Any suggestion where I can score one of these for the CMs??
  9. ^ Can you guys show me a pic or link to this upgrade kit you're referring to? I
  10. Uuuhh don't all the CM comes with the Gatling gun?? And how can I really distinguished the fixed/updated version???
  11. ^ Lets just say its a 2nd market
  12. ^ I totally agree. I'll give the CMs a shot since they are under $200- for a set
  13. ^ Yikes! Got me kinda discouraged but according to the video review, the Toynami Beta seems to be of good quality
  14. You know I see a CMs set for the green one at $115- shipped and the blue CMs for $150 shipped. I'll probably cave in on those too and see how they are in the hands
  15. Is Brave and CMs the same Co.? The CMs green is an awful choice of green!!! I think I like the asethetic of the toynami better and the Beta looks like more solid with ratchets. Man...... I guess you just can't have one without the other.I'll probably start off with the Toynami and get a feel of it in my hands. I think that all these breakage is associated with the amount of force and pressure during transformation. I mean, even if you have gorrilla sized hands and be gentle may not have caused breakage
  16. I saw the video of him presenting the blue Beta Toynami and he stated that the toynami is better. When he showed the toynami combine Beta and Alpha, it appears solid than the CMs How does the CMs feels when held in your hands tho in all modes? Any die-cast? How is die-cast on the legs a wrong place.....??? I mean, in bot mode shouldn't it be in the legs for a balanced stance just like gravity. You know that top heavy vs low heavy. Is the hands really that bad cuz the video review looks okay to me and I don't recall in the video review saying its bad Thanks. I finally got around to that and I'm leaning more on the Toynami Care to elaborate??? All the companies???? Looks like they all have their flaws. As I watched the video reviews, I think I like the Toynami more overall.I don't expect Yamato to take on the Mospeada line in the near future, so I'll bite on these Toynami as its the only toys to date that is affordable compared to the vintage leader class sized Gakkens
  17. ^ Was there some discrepancies in the transformation to and from????
  18. Thanks for the vid! I also checked out CollectionDX Toynami MPs and that looks to be of higher grade. The CMs seems filmy and made of cheap plastic and not as well fitted like the Toynami
  19. How are they differ when held in your hands? Hefy, light, fragile, filmsy, any diecast used, ease of transformation etc.
  20. Since I don't own one or seen one in person or physically held one, can you smarties give me your feedback as to which of the 4 toy makers produce the best Alpha Fighter. I believe there's CM corp, Toynami, Brave and Aoshima. What are their pros and cons between the 3, QC, worksmanship, paint or tampo apps etc.
  21. Too bad its a lil over scale for my 1/3000 SDF-1
  22. I don't get it!??? If this is supposed to be a stealth bomber likeness then what is the point of the yellow stripes as it just gives away that visibility. That said, I still think the lead designer should at least tampo the major ones like the Macross symbol. In the end, the buyer should be the one dictating, not the lead designer
  23. Actually, the one I sold has the notches which clearly is the normal one on the vintage than the reissues as EXO points out
  24. Are these still avail at HLJ??
  25. Why don't you make it easier on yourself and others by simply taking a few clear pics of your Strike Valk's ears??! I'm having a hard time distinguishing the differences from the pics you ripped off the net. But if you think the antennas are the only slight variations, you got more coming. Of course, this is comparing between the original Takatoku's 1/55 to the Bandai's 1/55 DYRL line and down to the Bandai's Transformers Jetfire. 1. The manufacture and date stamp on some Valks used decals 2. Box texture on a select few VF-1S Strike Valk are smooth than the commonly rough texture 3. Some of the hips has different notch shapes on its side or has just one
