Guess I was wrong to believe that Yamato had the exclusive rights for Macross. How did Wave managed to get the license and jumped on the band wagon for Macross toys? At any rate, the SDF looks awesome!

Not sure if this has already been discussed, but I was just curious to see if there are fans of Macross or any other animation based toy fans that actually work for toy company, regardless of your title or position. Or has worked at a toy company before. Not just Yamato but other toy company too like Hasbro or Toynami etc. Imagine one of us working at Yamato going to work everyday. That has to be an exciting experience!

Yup! I mean just the thought of having a two set just send chills through my body. For the most part, the concept of giftsets and two-packed items seems to have a higher appeal than one. Kind of like an eye catcher.

Depending on the scale, the box for the two would be huge. But this is indeed a nice strategy for sales and marketing purposes.

We are big kids now so the 1/48 is a must.

The environments and train sets are well in scaled with the Valks 1/48 too!

With all the new Macross toys coming out, any chance Yamato will make the Macross II VF-2SS. What are your thougths and please support your position/reasons as to why you feel Yamato will or will not produce this toy.

ALL of them from Takatoku, Bandai, and Yamato. But that's just me though.
