Yes! But for the purpose of the toy, I think it sould have came as standard. Much like the 1/55 VT-1 and VE-1.

No matter what type of collector you are, its not like you can take them with you when you die anyways. That is why I buy two of each. One to play and the other to the grave with me. Which I think is a bigger challenge than finding a AFA 100 quality.

Screw that! I'm keeping ALL my 1/48s. The 1/60 2.0 may have a degree of improvments here and there, but I still like the details of the 1/48s that the 1/60 2.0 should have gotten. You never know. The 1/48 may be a holy grail one day?

This is exactly why I prefer to save more and spend less. Then in the event of the global economic crunch, you buy when its low. As mentioned above, collectors are forced to sell their collection to make ends meet. Thank gawd I bought a condo for a fraction of what the previous owner paid!!

I don't understand why people are so surprised about the VT-1 and VE-1 2.0!? I mean, the first VT-1 and VE-1 1/60s had to go along with the other 1/60s. Now the VF-1D 2.0 which pretty much is a que for the other two-seaters. Hence, to go along with the other 1/60s 2.0. It is only the next logical step people!
