  1. The point is nastalgic is on Yamato side which lead to this milestone of constant improvements of the VF-1s. Unless the new waves of kids has knowledge of the 80s stuff. But I don't foresee the VF-1s to last another decade or two.
  2. As soon as the wave of 80s kids that grew up watching and playing with Macross toys begins to dwindle (dies), Yamato has no further reason(s) to continue its improvements for the VF-1s.
  3. I'm disappointed in you! How can you not see this coming??! The molds on the V2 1/60 has a two-seater, the VT-1, VE-1 and everything else in between. It is safe to foresee many possibilities....
  4. Why are they even making DVD still in this day in age? I'd much rather have it in Blu-ray!! Or HD if anything less.
  5. NOOOoooooooooooooooooo...... That's what the weathering is for!
  6. All this talk about hurting the wallet is definitely not hurting mine. I think Yamato is moving to freakin SLOW...... I'd have liked it better if its a different valk each month.
  7. In the cartoon, it did not explain Max's change from VF-1A to a 1D then 1J?
  8. That would defeat the purpose of limited edition! Of course it would be well over $200 bucks. For what scale?
  9. Too lazy to browse through it. Anyways, I'm really glad I got rid of some of my 1/48s. These 1/60 V2 seems so right in terms of design, size and price! I'm so looking forward to the MG, LV1, LV2, Stealth Strike set and the Angelbirds.
  10. Depends what dressing?
  11. I'd prefer pineapple salad mate!
  12. Like? Besides the TV and DYRL Focker's suit.
  13. We were talking about the color scheme of the VF-1's jets. Regardless, the yellow/black is there already. However, the LV Focker which I recall had a split second of screen shot from the episodes.
  14. The Focker is universal in DYRL and TV already. You should have seen what the LV1 goes for. I'm sure Yamato would love to make one for the V2 line. I don't foresee this for couple reasons. Majority of the line are in 1/60 scale. The price would be much higher and not everyone can easily afford a $200 dollar toy. Why do you think there's a V2 for the 1/60 from the get-go rather than a 1/48 V2?
  15. Take it out of the box and play with it, gosh!
  16. It's a no brainer here. I mean, lets slap a new coat of paint shall we?
  17. I'm sure this was expected! All those "No Step" stickers makes it looks tacky. The stickers that are applied versus the tampooing anyways.
  18. I still haven't transformed my v2 yet in fear of that shoulder hinge issue!
  19. Where is the AnimeExpo and how much is the admission?
  20. Explain or describe why you feel the Tpynami head sculp is better? A pic comparison would greatly appreciated!
  21. Who cares! At least you'er not getting ripped off man!!
  22. Hmm... 80% is not good enough. I'd rather have 97% close to the prototype. Anyways, I thought Yamato would have given the fan a Misa in the passanger seat?!
  23. IMHO, I suspect my last haul from HLJ was over charged in shipment to cover the lost from their "On Sale" items. What is more disturbing is that I placed much larger order with Orverdrive and the shipping was about what HLJ charged me and both were EMS. HLJ lost my business when it comes to bulk orders!
  24. It looks YUMMieeeee! Wow, I'm quite impress with the VE-1!! However, I'd would have loved it if it came with some weapons just like the old 1/55 despite it not being an attack vehicle. I do suspect the VE-1 to be delayed just like the VT-1.
  25. Had I know this, I could have saved $170 in shipping! Ahhh....FRACK HLJ!!
