  1. Welp....not happy about having to pay another $35 in shipping from BiJ but the crap got here in 2 days. That's just insane. Course, I'm stuck at the station for the next 72hrs so I won't be home till Sunday.🤦‍♂️ Almost feel bad about the nasty email I sent BiJ about charging me twice for overly expensive shipping. Almost
  2. Just got a message from BiJ that my prepaid order is ready to ship......for an extra fee of $36. Won't be using them again.

This thread still makes me sad.
  4. I get what you're saying. I think what I disagreed with was you saying that 1/48 scale was a useless size for this toy when what you meant was 1/48 was a useless scale for you. For what it's worth, I do hope they make the larger version as more options are always better. Personally, for me though, it doesn't make sense to shell out for a scale that's in between the two scales I'd like, even if it meant getting the larger scale built. That would essentially double the cost for the larger scale I really want.
  5. I disagree with this completely. The Gurabs weren't that big. Size charts confirm it. I love scale accuracy and having them like that reminds me how small they were. It's why I like the Sentinel toy size. It confirms to me just how tiny an aircraft the Legioss was in comparison to Yamato or Bandai's 1/48 VF-1s. There are larger Inbit mecha.....it's just not the Gurab or scout for that matter. I think it would, however, be cool to have a Gurab or scout at a scale that goes with the Sentinel or Beagle ride armors. I realize the size makes the Gurab underwhelming on their own. But their danger was never as individuals but more in swarms, hence getting more than a few. It also makes the poseable figures and bikes included with the Sentinel Legioss all the more viable now that they'd have enemies to pose with. Just my opinion, anyway.
  6. I'm in for a few each of the 1/48 scale MEP Toys figures. The larger one is just too small for what I'd want it for, which would be for the Sentinel ride armors. If they upscaled it a bit to scale with those, I'd be in for a few of that one as well.
  7. Ummm......where's his thumb? Where's Roldo?
  8. I'd definitely need to keep that box for myself to sleep in once the wife saw what I'd bought. I'd have to change my name to Anton
  9. I got mine in last week. Think I remember a few others on here as well getting theirs around the same time from BiJ via DHL.
  10. Personally, I think this is it for me. Unless/Until they do a VE-1, a VT-1 or the Roy variant Armor set, I've got pretty much every valk I want. Ok, maaaaaaaybe I need a CF. But, that's all I need.
  11. Here's the person's quote. There's a lot of people on that forum that vouch for him. He has a lot of good prices on Fanstoys products which, like Macross items, typically sell out super fast and get scalped at insane prices. Because of that, there's always people who are suspicious and plenty of questions are asked. But, everyone who's ordered from that site has gotten what they ordered and for the price they got in on. I can't say whether or not he's legit, as I haven't actually received any of the preorders I have through him, but it sounds like he is. At the same time, he could charge through the roof for this as well. However, the listing does say free shipping, as somebody mentioned, so anywhere around $380 is spot on, I'd say.
  12. I've spent way too much money on transforming robots this past week. I'm going to go let my wife stab me now. The hospital bills will probably be cheaper than the damned toys, anyway. She'll be doing my wallet a favor. Who am I kidding.....it's her wallet.
  13. WOW!!! I remember that comic at the comic stores when I was a kid. What a blast from the past. Thanks for posting that pic, man. That put a smile on my face before this whole preorder madness.
