  1. Neat idea, but this is definitely a very niche market that might not get the attention from Yamato.
  2. Nice pics Jorawar_b. The VF-22s Max looks impressive with the activated booster. While the Elint looks sooo serene....
  3. True, but did Yamato ever confirm that the Fast Packs were coming?
  4. Does anyone know if the VF-17 will come with option parts to attach the existing fold booster?? And I am not sure, but did Graham state there was or was not going to be a release for the VF-17 fast packs??
  5. Nice pics, PUD333. My VF-19 with Booster has no loose joints to report. But there are a few parts they were never glued or lack glue to keep them in place. Since Yamato, now has the updated ankles for the Blazer why couldn't they issue these updated versions for the Fire??
  6. Like most contributors of this thread have pointed out, there are still collectors who appreciate the 1/48 and continue to collect them. Those of use who still collect these old giants often prefer the size, details, gimmicks, and overall appeal. I would say for the most part, I trully enjoy its' size, that allows for continued modification. I recently picked up a 1/60 V.2 TV Roy VF-1S to compare to my custom 1/48 TV Roy VF-1S. Personally, the 1/48 wins my vote. The only reason I am going to hold on to the 1/60 Roy is that it rounds out a future project I have. It involves Roy, Hikaru & Minmei (in VF-1D), Regult-HDP, and a pulped and bloody Zhentloudhy.
  7. Congratulations. Take care of your lovely gem. I remember fond (or horrific) memories of my first new StrikeValkyrie, I owned back in the eighties. Since I had no idea of what Macross was at the time, I hacked the Armour to make special jet packs and mini-vehicles for my GI Joes. If I only new then of what I know now, I would have kicked myself in the arse for even thinking of taking a screwdriver and "Crazy Glue" to the armour. But hey at least my Joe were happy. Lucky for the valk it only suffered a minor Jetfire-esque paint job, with magic markers and white out. Who could blame me at the time. I was only a kid.
  8. New VF-17 and VF-19 Blazer on the way!!!!

  9. Nice collection rusted180, I especially like the three part sequence of Kakizaky's demise handed down by Miria. If I collected cells, I think I would only collect the death scenes or fallen heros.
  10. Just another way of giving us false hope, ala 1/60 Monster... I'm sure they must have one completely done and lying around somewhere. Just wish they would complete the destroid line already.
  11. Thanks for sharing Reivaj, but that is the exact same bulletin posted on MW a few months back. Seems like the Phalanx is not progressing towards completion of any kind.
  12. Ok, here is something I wasn't ready for. My 1/60 VF-19 Fire Valkyrie has parts that are coming unglued. Little details like the thrusters in the shoulder, and the yellow bonnet arround the boot just fell off the right ankle. Damn, Yamato, as much as we pay for these I am sure you can squander just a few more drops of glue to keep things in place. Now I have to really look over this beauty and make sure I don't loose anything before I glue everything in place.
  13. Listen to Jenius, there was never enough interest to get this off the ground. After seeing the "It Lives" thread, I am more than sure you would see why this thread should only remain in the graveyard of threads past and dead. Thanks for the inquiry.
  14. Thanks, Renato. The ending of that video is almost endearing, where you pose the Nightmare staring up and longing into your eyes. Soon, very soon, it shall be yours.
  15. That scan is pure bot-porn. I too am in for a Milia and Gamlin version!!
  16. With so many new VFs to come...what shall I buy next?

  17. Red VF-1A with lights packed in blister with cardboard backing. http://dennis-toys.blogspot.com/2008/10/ko-155-red-vf-1a.html
  18. Check this out, I just came macross this http://robottobsessi...01_archive.html Nice gallery of 1/100 VF-1A,J,S. Plus other fine gems I never new about.
  19. Since a few members here on a 1/55 nostalgia kick. I thought we could all reminisce about the past and reflect on the good ol' times. ***You really have to see this topic from the beginning to fully enjoy it.***
  20. Ha, ha, ha. Please tell me you're kidding and realize that's and old joke from way back in the days....
  21. Wow, that was boring. The only thing this game has going is Maria Mansfield.
  22. Graham, please make it happen.
  23. 1/60 v.2 VF-1 series, I really expected a bit more than what it was.
  24. I love this thing. It's interesting to note that there are no screws used for any part of the construction process. It's pretty much a snap-fit kit. I really wish this could accomodate the T-Rex Zent. It would have been awesome as part of a great diorama piece.
  25. Was it Arai or Reds who produced the large 1/24 scale static VF-1 Fighter?
