This video presentor really makes the transformation look seemless. Calm and in control. He spends more time with commentary than transformation and gets the job done. there is something to be learned from this video.

I’m in for one of each variant: A/J/S/D and VE and VT. Honestly, I have more than my share but this scale has always been a big favorite.

But once you get the hang of it, it’s not that bad. From all the fighters I have the newest bearskins are always the hardest even if they are sometimes reprints. When I received the Arad VF-31 I swore it was’t this hard when I transformed the previous three. When I first transformed the 19Adv it seemed a bit difficult but definitely not daunting. I went back to look at the videos several times but all in all I did it and was very pleased with the outcome. Good this this new 19Exc will be the same.

If they did make an actual sculpt of Roy and not just a repaint of Hikaru I would be all over this. For now let’s see if KL creates a whole new body and slightly reworks the cockpit to make him fit.

The head shield is still attached. If you watch the official videos it explains how to stow it correctly.

I do. But only after they hit the bargain bin. Before I used to buy them immediately, but seeing as they end up as shelf warmers means I can prioritize for other items or just save money.

Your guess is partially correct, yet if this was totally true the swing bar could have been integrated per the 1/72 kit.

Your custom already looks really good as is. But I can understand wanting to improve your work.

You can also place Basarás head on the Hikaru pilot body. You will need some styrene and flesh colored acrylic paint to make the neck. But it does look good. I’ll try to dig it out to take a picture.
