  1. I just hope this stand will support a GBP armour with VF.
  2. Spanner you have almost if not more micro cars than Jackie Chan. Nice collection.
  3. That figure of OP is one I have been debating since it’s debut. I’m not sure if I want this or not. It will throw off my collection of MP figs. If they released Mega to go with it. I would then buy into this sized figure.
  4. That’s is awesome. Where on earth did you find this?
  5. Wet sanding would be the best option when putting on too much paint. Plus it helps release some of the trapped paint on your tools. You might also want a steel bristle brush to remove residual paint from you tools.
  6. He just reconstructed the busted hip on his VF-19Advance. Let him enjoy it as is for a while.
  7. I never looked at it that way. Good eye, but no it’s not a Macross kite. It’s a boat from a Where the Wild Things Are party.
  8. I do. I think I will display a set of 1/48s like this at next year’s SDCon. Just have to figure out which one I want to use. With packs or without. Hmm.
  9. My daughter wanted to do Over the Garden Wall this year, as we have been long time fans. She wanted these decorations for her birthday party as well. Most everything is cobbled together from various media and nothing is exact like the cartoon but we wanted to keep it under budget and build it all in one day. We usually go Nightmare Before Christmas but this is indeed a nice change. And that’s a Rock Fact!
  10. I like where you’re going with this. Let’s hope you are prophetic.
  11. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
  12. If the pilot is close to the 1/60 pilot from Yamacadia, then I will just chalk it up to retconning and consider this a 1/60. Similar to what happened to the VF-11 when it was upsized to fit the 1/60 Mac Plus valkyries.
  13. Agreed. Nonetheless it really does look good and seems to transform smoothly. My only concern, like others have said is the sliding shoulder plates. I remember making custom shoulders for the Yamato 1/48, but they actually were made with a knuckle connector similar to the lineart, slid back and forth, and the shoulders telescoped to tuck into the backplate during frighten mode. I never went ahead and made the parts past the prototype stage but they worked really well. Who knows, one day I might decide to complete my 1/48 upgrades.
  14. I’m with you on this.
  15. But you know, it shouldn’t be too hard to place LEDs into it.
  16. No. It’s just a piece of great looking jewelry.
  17. That slight mod really looks good.
  18. I’m on the same boat as you. I just hope if they do realease more variants that they will follow through with Super, Stike, and GBP parts.
  19. It happens only the the 1/48. With the 1/60 I have never had it happen. The large plate between the fins flexed an the joint just pops out and can be easily placed where it should be.
  20. This happens with the Yamato. Honestly, it’s not a deal breaker. The good thing is that the part didn’t break. I really enjoyed seeing the transformation, but like others have said there really is nothing new. All of it is mostly refined and tried efforts. still looking forward to it.
  21. So after going through and straightening the misaligned parts I was able to get Isamu’s ride nice and ready. So ready that he opted for a slightly larger fold booster.
  22. Just came in from CDJapan. Antenna is intact, but these was definitely crammed into the box. Here a slew of pictures. Damn you Bandai. i went thei the transformation sequence and found the main culprit to be a misaligned hip joint.
  23. Oh sorry that happened. Just repaint it and it should be okay. Just be careful nex time.
  24. Why is this here. Please refer to the appropriate topic.
