    Has anyone received any shipping updates about the R Hunter figure that was supposed to come out in December. I have been contacting KL and they continue to push the month out. Has anyone heard or received anything?

    It looks good just the way it is. IMHO depending on which VF it is I actually like this look. Roy VF-1S and the VF-1D would look good with an amber tint. Then a light brown or umber wash to balance and achieve a great weathered look.

    This is true. I just hope it comes with additional adapters to attach more than just a VF-1.

    For those who have not ordered the Monster, I would have to say without a doubt this is the best Mecha and a testament of the engineering that goes into the HMR line. The Monster is a definite must have for any collection. The detailing is amazing and the articulations are superb.

    I would wait a little longer until more information is released. The item pictured is the Bandai Model Kit and not the DX.

    This new trio of paint schemes will be a must have. I skipped out on the original VF-4. If all the reviews are good then I will surely grab the lot of these M&M and Focker schemes. Are these schemes from any particular game or publishing?

    Left - Bandai 1/72 model kit Center - Bandai 1/48 DX toy Right - Yamato 1/60 toy (Arcadia and Yamato are the same mold)

    Amptor, There are threads if you really are interested in posting your Valkyrie count. Why not share it here and be done with it. Back in the days all members would gladly share their healthy collections and not gloat about what they owned. It was a fun way to share. Just note that a lot of these counts are quite old but a lot of these collections have built up considerably over the years.

    Well you could be right. But the way I see it. It really is a great way to get a fully tampoed VF-1 at a fraction of the cost. Also, the strike packs alone more than make up the cost for these. If you were to find a set of SSP new it would run at about 120ish. Then that means you get a really great deal on on a Premium Finish Valkyrie. Either way it is a win win if you buy this to supplement an original collection or just buy this for the purposes of filling the KO Kollection gaps.

    Or maybe the molds for original head burned out and they had to make a new sculpt. Does any one have a PF VF-1S to compare to this Yamato type?

    Strike pack gows on very secure. The arms are pretty stiff at the shoulder and the secondary joint of the elbows. Other than that everything else is nice and solid.

    So I received my KO PF VF-1S DYRL Hikaru Ichijo w/SSP. I got lucky my copy came out great. The tampo is top notch and the color scheme only has one very tiny black paint mark behind the intake that I removed with my finger nail. This can easily pass for the original, which is scary. The biggest pro above the Arcadia version is that it has no pink overtones with exception to the metal swing bar and the landing gear. Everything is white, tight, and amazing. If you are looking for an alternative this is a great stand in. And now if you’re looking to add to your KO Kollection then I would highly recommend it. The price and quality are just right. Above all I am very happy with item Valkyrie Factory.

    I feel for you. The grey plastic on the V1 1/60 YF-19 is very similar to the VF-0 series from Yamato. Before you break out the glue give it a full once over. I keep seeing sales on eBay expressing the same issue with grey and beige parts being broken. It might just mean that time is up for these once great beauties. Hope you can repair it without too much trouble.

    With a VF-1 In such a large scale it would be a shame to lose out on such a wonderful opportunity to really detail this. Great job! Keep it up!

    Great review. When the sultry music leading to the bedroom scene came on my wife was like WTF but we just laughed. Thanks for the great laugh. Your review made me glad I bought the Hikaru versión DYRL Strike. Just remember that’s a Valkyrie you just reviewed and converts from Fighter to GERWALK to Battroid. Welcome to MW.

    Bandai should really consider selling the stand by itself. I would by at least two.
