  1. Well the old Takatoku version required two swing bars. The Yamato version had one. At this point is hard to say if the new Bandai model will or will not fall victim to loose joints.
  2. If you source the adequate materials to handle the stress and durability issues of transformations it will be possible to make it worK in the same manner as the 1/72.
  3. That would have been the perfect solution. Implement what they themselves had pioneered and not trek over previously crossed paths. I just wish Bandai would have truly given us something NEW.
  4. Now that would be an interesting idea for PlaMax to market. I could get behind something like this if they offered all the pilots for DYRL and SDFM for all VF/E/T and A/S/J/D configurations.
  5. Order now. These are limited to 20 per person. How many of these did HLJ get stuck with?
  6. Hey Saburo, I like how you’re mess-ering with those super parts. Looks really good on the Kairos.
  7. But perfect transformation has nothing to do with the sequence of transformation and what it take to achieve it. Perfect transformation has always referred to changing from one form to another and assimilating the form it is meant to represent. The swing bar used is really a lazy and old representation by Bandai originally introduced by Yamato. Heck you could detach the old Yamato swing bar and use the hip swivel just the same by removing the center pin on the swing bar. But oh well, Bandai has come this far but at the same time not really far enough.
  8. Does anyone know why Bandai insists on having a swing bar if it can be detached? I mean there seems to be no real purpose for it even in GERWALK or fighter. Bandai should just should have eliminated it and gone with the old Yamato V1 style. They could have had a great opportunity to build up incorporated side covers and at least lineart accurate detailing under the backplate. The strange connection pin still baffles me. Hopefully my gripe will be for nothing once I get this in hand and really understand the purpose of these so called enhancements.
  9. Might have been a short line where he was able to get back in line with more items. Or he just had a few signed and forged the rest of the set. Either way very cool collection.
  10. So now Bandai is hard up for cash and is going to nickel and dime us? I would have gladly paid a slightly more to include the correct TV set of accessories with this and any release. So what’s next GPB missles are going to be sold separately form the armour? For shame Bandai. For shame indeed.
  11. Finally!
  12. Nice set of pictures and great collection to boot!
  13. Careful or you shoot your eye out. Or worse yet get pink eye from the VF-0 chest misales. ;P
  14. From all the pictures so far, I am still on the fence about this SV-51. I think I will have to wait until there is a review to really gauge if this will truly be worth acquiring. Yes there might be improvements but just how many to justify the newer higher cost?
  15. Do you have any recent pictures? I remember this picture from way back but I would like to know how long this treatment lasts. Thank you.
  16. Haha. Careful that one of them doesn’t swing his head to hard and shatters you glass display.
  17. Add bow ties to the VF-2(s) to match those tuxedo coat tails. ;p
  18. Congrats on you YF-19. I have to say that VF-11B looks timeless. It poses and pictures perfectly with your 19.
  19. Wasn’t the Velcro on the flap lid an indicator of the first run?
  20. Awesome display! Happy Halloween!
  21. It says limited edition but would it still include the stand. There are no pictures or mentioning of it.
  22. You’re shots are flawless, unfortunately they show all the micro gaps throughout. One day Bandai will be productions/manufacture perfect and they will be in alignment with your photographic skills.
  23. Ok so now I have to do this display at home. As parts and valkyries are released I can add them to the wall. It looks like outlines on the tool wall of a garage. Makes it’s it easier to keep track of your tools (valkyries and parts).
