I think a few pages back someone did but the Yamato pilot is too big.

Don’t be so sure about that. Given what we’ve seen with the upcoming Takara/Hasbro Optimus Prime Masterpiece the prices were very high for new figure and this coming from a very well financially backed manufacturer. Arcadia is much smaller with lesser means and has more than once hit our wallets hard with no remorse. If you think back to the VF-0s the prices were already high to begin with and still they added insult to injury with PF release. And let’s not forget all the other PF madness and sticker shock. But this is all speculation and I hope they consider all the other products out there wanting our funds versus their high priced items.

Excellent customs. -
Wow. The price just keeps getting higher. Could be due to the rising Yen, demand, or some other factor.

I know there is a group of out there who were/are really into the 1/48. One of the other guys just peered in. :P Check out page 6 of this thread and then take a look at my gallery for some customs. I have more but those are still in the works. -

Not quite. I already have plans to use funds for other purposes and divest in other interests. To restart another 1/48 collection is a lost cause in my book. The new DX is not really all that new when you break it down. It takes ideas from all it’s predecessors and just tweaks most of the dimensions giving it a new look but not really anything or real added value for me. In some cases it goes backwards. But you know what they say “to each his own”. I found mine. Good luck on finding yours. -

I’m still on board with these Yamato 1/48s. At the moment I have most everything ever released in this line an not to mention numerous wonderful customs that I know will never be made. The new DX is here and that’s cool and all, but I have no need to collect everything again and go through the madness once again. To me it’s just not worth it. All I need now is time to continue customizing. I mean what do you when you acquire 100+ Yamato 1/48s? You make what you want. I have a DX on the way and might collect a few others in the same line if more come but not to the extent of my first 1/48 adventures. -
Te quedó elegantísimo! Que tipo de pintura usaste? Desarmaste la figura completamente o solamente la pintaste ya armamada? Felicidades!

Nice acquisition. That book is so spectacular that I probably look inside it maybe once a week. The details and storyboard pictures are amazing! Congratulations!

Finally received notice from HLJ that my DX is on it’s way. I got worried thinking they were going to repeat the whole 31A incident. What a relief.

Looking good Nyankodevice. Cant’t wait to see it completed. Is it just me or does the Skull and Crossbone logo appear small on the side of the booster?
