New ghost pack for VF-31a looks really good! -

Great display! That resin Thunder Hummer is a great kit. IIRC Valk009 commissioned and had the kit casted many years ago. It holds up really well and looks good to this day. I have mine in a box along with the 1/48 version which keeps having warp issues since it’s release.

As mentioned before, the head is a slightly different sculpt. Other than that the differences are mostly minor like where sprues are cut and how. For the most part it looks great.

I just bought it off eBay. Keep a watch on any of the sellers and see if they make you a discount offer. I didn’t know it would come with the clear parts. So it might be a craps shoot.

Valkyrie Factory Roy VF-1S DYRL SSP PF has arrived with an added set of items. Not bad for 155.00 shipped. The clear Fast Pack parts are a really nice touch. Just as the previous Hikaru it came in excellent shape with no issues to quality and tampo print. I hope they release Max 1S for these to make the perfect trio. Enjoy the show.

Jenius might have a point here. Since the missile set released is for DYRL VFs maybe we might get an official TV version with red nuke tips and appropriately colored missiles to match. We can only hope.

Hi Dafob, Your custom came out great! Nice job! -
I still like my 1/48 Collection. How about you?

Excellent set up! -
Well the trap door on the back could just be that it was mis-transformed. What really irks me is the use of the crossbar to support the booster and strike weapon. It’s just looks so uninspired. Plus, I think there could have been a much more elegant solution made for the arm attachments. I have always disliked those tabs. They seem to break up the flow of the arms and arm armor. Oh well, that won’t stop me from buying at least one.

Looking good!

Hey guys, please stay on topic. These may be Bandai items but the thread is for Macross related items only. Thanks.

Niiiiiiiiice!!! -
Head over to the “wanted” section. There is a thread to address this actual issue. I hope you find what you’re looking for.

For me it has only been this release.

Hi guys, Thank you all for the really nice compliments. I only meant to call out how the scale between HMR, 1/60, and 1/48 as they have been interpreted from the actual show. For those who are interested in seeing my customs in person please come to the Super Dimension Convention this year and I am sure these will be there. I hope to see a certain someone’s awesome HMR customs as well. Now back to the Hi Metal topic... chronocidal, I have the same issue with mine. Not sure what’s going on but you might be right about something being installed or assembled incorrectly.

Wow! That looks great. Does the VF-9 have no knee covers? Or are the legs over extended?

Kids Logic prototype, Macross Valkyrie VF-1 J&S Bust Figure
nightmareB4macross replied to kyekye's topic in Toys
All this detail really makes sense for Fokker’s 1S bust. I mean it has a flask on it’s back. No wonder Roy was never afraid of anything he had a camelback with liquor reserve on the VF’s back.- 80 replies

Agreed.

Anime Magic or not. I pretty much think Mike’s 1/48 true scale versions nailed the size. Yamato’s and Bandai scales are always too small to fit the story well.
