Whats Lying on your Workbench MK IV
nightmareB4macross replied to Urashiman's topic in The Workshop!
I just got them in late yesterday and only opened the box to discard excess packaging. Only saw the antennas but I am waiting to debut this set at SDCon. From what I can see through the bubble wrap...this is going to be an incredible set. I have had several inquiries about the set. If you’re really interested you might ant to ask the producer of these directly about price. The print is inexpensive. A 1/5000 Nuptiet Vergnitz runs 250.00 and that includes smoothing and priming of the vessel. Shipping extra. The prints are hollow but feel very sturdy. The seller uses an online translator to communicate in English, but if you need help I don’t mind helping out a fellow MW member. FYI-I have no stake in any of the particulars of this or any transactions. I just really hit it off with this seller and got the entire fleet of my dreams from a really great guy. I just want others to have their dreams fulfilled as well. -
Is this a reference flyer to the next Zero release?

I think these are PF editions. Price is pretty good.

Wow. The pilot looks amazing. Have you considered chipping effects or wear on the armor parts and possibly scuffing on the arm pads and shoes. Being that pilots wedge themselves into their respective ships or Mecha I think it would add a touch of realism. The pilot looks great, but too new at the same time. -
Adorable. I really like this figure and the Hikaru version as well. Both are amazing together.

It’s just so weird to see soooo much chocolate color when it Roy’s Custom VF-4, or supposedly. Bandai, Roy is black and yellow. KISS.

All can afford this set. Just remember I was the first and pushed for this scale. So once you guys ask for your sets at the same time expect a slight delay. It pays to be a pioneer. -

Thank you. I’ve done none of the work described above. After being printed he did all the work to sand and smooth out the printed vessels. Once I get these, I’ll put up more pictures when they arrive. -

From the dude in South America. He’s a really nice guy! These are on route and scheduled to arrive Oct 3. The wait is killing me. -

This new set of customs is a definite pass. While they do look interesting they just don’t make any connection for me to the franchise. Thanks for nothing Bandai. My wallet is not where you think it is. You missed.

I love what you’ve done here. The VT-1 is a TRAINER and not a FIGHTER! -
That Britai looks a tad short. His chin should be aligned with the top of the VF-1J head.

I still like my 1/48 Collection. How about you?

Well if you not selling them, just toss them out to me. I would be happy to take those junkers off your hands. I hate seeing MW members so unhappy. Giving them to me will bring you happiness and provide you more shelf space to set up the new DX Valkyries. -
It’s good to see your dedication to completing this custom. Excellent work!

I can see scalpers and hoarders already lining up to buy all stock of one set just to gouge buyers. It’s a neat idea but the price is ridiculous. Easy pass for me. -

That's starting to take shape very well. I haven’t read the name or even seen a Daihatsu in such a long time. What are you planning for the diorama? -
Thanks for the advice. Glad I got the both correct feet!

Took a chance on having my shipment brought in and to my surprise the feet were crooked right out of the box. When it was removed, immediately I extended the feet and found that they were the correct ankles. I was happy to see this and that my gamble paid off. what seems odd though is that even when I fully collapse the feet they still tend to toe out. Not sure what’s going on. Maybe the ankles are reversed. I will have to inspect this more closely later today and report back. Wish me luck.

Looks pretty good, but why he yellow arrow on the head. Someone got detail happy.

If it came broken it would be better to get it replaced. Since there seems to be various reasons to send it back the great thing is Arcadia is being responsive and responsible enough to address the issue. You paid a lot of money for this, why settle? It may be a hassle, but once you get a corrected replacement at least you can enjoy more than one mode.
