  1. Found pic on the Mexico Macross Fans FB page. I thought MEP Toys was the only company doing Southern Cross figures. Or at least toying with the idea.
  2. Sorry can’t sleep. So after looking at the picture again, I noticed the shoulder joints are not the Yamato/Arcadia type any longer. They appear to be DX style. Makes me wonder if the slide mechanism is now available on these. KC is really upping their game. If these changes are going to be available on new releases, then it would be hard not to consider adding this to any collection. Hopefully they correct the crummy hip connector for fighter mode.
  3. Not sure, but it looks like they are adding metal feet as well. Here’s the original prototype with plastic feet. NEVERMIND, feet are metal on first release. These are probably just primed.
  4. Going with a 1S custom works really with the Hikaru paint scheme. Awesome job!
  5. Cool. Time to get some more figures. Did you guys notice KC is now showing an updated version of their VF-1, with Bandai style hips. Second pic is for reference of the first version as reviewed by Jenius at Anymoon.
  6. Congratulations Roberto and Ted!! You both did an amazing job on these kits.
  7. Not publicizing the KC editions. Just wanted to point out that they seem to be coming out with a version 2 of their VF-1 using the Bandai DX hips. Shoulder are also similar to DX and no longer Yamato/Arcadia type.
  8. Base on pictures from the last event, it could be any one of the Skull Squadron.
  9. That’s a really nice GTA, but if you want something closer to his BOSS Mustang head on over to Target’s site.
  10. Those two are meant for each other they look fantastic. Congratulations on completing them both.
  11. Hi Chris, Will this list separate the official licensed products, GK licensed from BW, GK unlicensed (bootlegs or 3P) and straight out recast bootlegs of official kits and unofficial kits, and finally 3D printed unofficial products from many individuals in production. It just gets so confusing nowadays that many of us would like to know what is “official” and how we can better support true Macross/BW products. I know I am guilty of buying recasts sometimes without even knowing until it’s too late. For example, I bought a 1/48 UD Kit years ago from a seller who stayed the product was official, but late came to discover it was an e2046 release. All the parts are well done, but I was really hoping for the original.
  12. You can kiss your PayPal protection good bye if you happened to commit since the preorder was released.
  13. Nice pics everyone! Here a little something... I was trying to fit the Bandai arm cannon on the YF-19 from Arcadia and it turned out better than I thought. The arm cannon does not attach to the arm like it should because of the slots and pegs on the Bandai. But if you origami this into a small packet on the back of the packet a small handle will makes itself available and so the Arcadia can hold the pack to give a distinct weapon. I thought it worked out pretty well.
  14. Try contacting XSToys. I believe he was the winner of that auction.
  15. Still here after a long hiatus. Missed all the good folks from around here. Your customizing skills sure have come a long way. Excellent work indeed.
  16. ArchiNov, So the color was correct all along. It just needed to be properly weathered to achieve what we always saw in the anime. Could you get a shot of the VF-0D and the SV-51y together. Congrats to you and your customizer. Job well done!
  17. Gatsu, That is such an incredible build! The details and weathering are fantastic!
  18. Soooo glad I never bought any of the Evo Toys. This Legioss looks really amazing and the new take on the cockpit really solved the issues of the elongated nose profile when in soldier mode. I hope this line is a success and we get to see a Tled down the line. Just not too far off. Pretty excited about this release.
  19. Lots of room for our improvements the for sure, but this seems more inclined toward the Battroid versus fighter mode. Sure, there is a lot to be perfected and desired, but it looks pretty damn good to me.
  20. Such a beautiful collection. It brought a tear to my eye. It’s always amazing to see such wonderful things I such a small space. Especially when the owner is just maintaining them and doing an amazing job caring for his collection. This would make a great front drop for any hangar.
  21. Those are really a great pair of customs. Your collection continues to evolve with these wonderful customs.
  22. Personally, it has been more fun sharing my collection with my son and daughter than just collecting. Overall experience continues to be fun and both my son and daughter like to play with our toys. As they grow older they remember the toys but just don’t play as much as they used too. But I still remember the days when my son would say to my wife “Mom take a picture of me for your Facebook!” Yep, he’s had rich history with toys and continues to do so. I will always cherish these memories. I hope more parents do the same like those of us who have shared experiences here.
