    Not against it, just having a bit of angst against a high end collectible manufacturer who does not live up to high end standards. Never did I say don’t buy anything Arcadia. Never did I interfere with any purchases of anyone’s liking. Been only sharing personal experiences. Not sure why you are stating a rule that only applies to personal level. I just shared negative experiences.

    Had Arcadia corrected the color of the plastic years ago...well let’s just say price would have ban justified and we wouldn’t have to worry about scratching, scuffing, damaging or immediately losing value up or first transformation.

    So painting over is the solution versus correcting the color? Arcadia it’s time to stop. Make it right or don’t make it at all. For many years we have seen this color debacle. Instead of making it right you make it more of a burden on your loyal customers. Do I like it sure. Do I know what will happen if I transform a painted figure? Of coarse I do. Do I want a toy that is transformable? Oh hell yes! Will I buy it? NOPE! So why is Arcadia offing a Supefragelisticscratchialidoscious version of a figure that could have been corrected by just producing the proper colored plastic? Oh yeah, laziness and greed. I am just getting soooo over Arcadia. If it wasn’t for the VF-4(A?) FB2012 I would have called it quits. Arcadia needs to move forward and stop basking in the glow of Yamato’s past success. Arcadia time to stop suckling on the tests of your successor and grow up. Sorry for the rant, but Arcadia is really not living up to being the.company it was supposedly going to be.

    Plain and simple. Policy of the boards is selling recast items is NOT permitted. Read the rules. Nothing to argue nor discuss.

    If I were you I would avoid the StrikeAlpha24/7 auctions. He sells them but they are full or air pockets and not consistent in color to the Valkyrie. Unless you want to spend time cleaning and color matching I would stay away. When this was permitted back in the days I would offer color casted parts. Those days are long gone and I don’t have the time to do these anymore. Plus don’t forget recasting Is a no no here. Somehow, 3D printing is the new “legitimized” method of recreating parts even though it’s still a method of duplication or replication or original parts. Go figure.

    With all the issues occurring with this figure, I went ahead and contacted Anime Export for support and a positive outlook. Currently, I am at 170, 10 days shy of PayPal protection, so if I hear nothing in the next few days I will file for a refund. It’s a shame for AE, hopefully they can lie a claim against Arcadia for all these customer issues. Hopefully, all customers affected can come to an accord with AE or get their money back. Thinking positive thoughts.

    Looks nice but a bit grainy. Would you consider a light buffing prior to decaling to prevent silverIng effects on decals? Or just lay a gloss coat prior to decaling?

    And now adding to the disappointing truth. The ankle rivets just let loose and now I have to reglue the smaller toes back on. This is what happened to another board member previously. Don’t mean to rant, but this Arcadia release is experiencing the dreaded Zero curse of explodium parts. Oddly enough they are not plastic parts but metal instead. I am definitely reconsidering future purchases of Zero mechs from Arcadia. For the price point you might as well through your money in a roaring fire pit. Arcadia is doing nothing preemptive to assure quality. Arcadia (and I mean this with the utmost respect) WTF?!?!?!?!?’

    So after receiving this last week I thought what better way to enjoy this new marvel than with fellow enthusiasts at SDCon or at least I thought. First impression was good. Color looked great that my daughter said “wow that’s nice, dad.” But just from the first transformation it feels like parts already want to loosen. The left wing joint began to flail during transformation. The upper chest half does not lock down. And the hips are already begging to feel loose. I had high hopes for this and honestly expected more from this over the Yamato version. Unfortunately, I feel ill this morning and was not able to make the con to display this supposed masterpiece of Arcadia. I am somewhat glad I didn’t this SV-51 is an unfortunate disappointment. What bothers me most is not the fact that it was expensive, more so that it did not live up to expectations. I will have to limit transformation and just leave it one mode. Sucks to pay for something that supposed to transform and you have to decide on only leaving it in one mode so it does not destroy itself in your hands. Thanks for nothing Arcadia.

    Great pics All! This looks be the latest challenge. To all VF-1A Max owners like myself, was I the only one to be disappointed to see DYRL hands in a TV version release. Bandai missed on making a full and better set for TV Valkyrie owners.

    I so wanted this kit, but the static state in which it will rest does not appeal to me. Battroid (even static) is where I will be pulling the trigger that is if the proportions look good. And then I ‘ll have Roy chugging a Missile-Weiser! Hiccup.

    QFT. I don’t have the patience nor space to store that many boxes for just one model. I would much better utilize the space for other items.
