  1. Squid, You will not be let down. The build quality of any of these three is amazing. The only down side is they are a bit puny when compared to the 1/100 Koenig by Yamato or the HMR. The difference is clear when directly compared. When you throw them all into a grouping their sizes seem to work pretty well in Battroid. My kiddo loves to play with these.
  2. You’re right forgot that one. But I totally forgot that I Eder to have a configurations for several modes more than three are needed of each. You need to have, include mid-Gerwalk mode: 4 for F/G/B/M clean 4 for F/G/B/M with strike packs 4 for F/G/B/M with Super Packs 1 for GBP for MISB 3 backup in case of defects 1 back up in case of defects for each armor configuration Repeat for DYRL and TV types of each Yup, this hobby is expensive. IIRC, Sephiroth had this kind on nailed down back in the days.
  3. Precisely. So does anyone else have this on their copy or copies?
  4. Don’t forget the Super Pack configuration for all three modes.
  5. Hey Lolicon, I forgot to credit you for these pictures you posted of your custom white painted landing gear on page 359 from this thread. When I searched picks this was the first set I found and noticed the slanted edge.
  6. So I was looking at my Vf-1S and something about the “001” on the right side of the pilot seems off. It appears the numbers and back edge of the stripe arrow are leaning forward. Zoom in and you’ll see what I mean. I had to search this forum for a picture to reference as I was hoping I would be the only one.
  7. Hahaha. I meant tampos. Spell check strikes AGAIN!!!
  8. Welcome to MW! Always glad to have more TF brethren join. The only parts that are painter are red and black, and that’s pretty much it. The tampons are markings to look out for during transformation. Other than that, you can transform the VF-1S to your heart’s content.
  9. You could always make your own. All you need is a little ingenuity and paint.
  10. Looks good Kuma! Question though, are the legs supposed to attach like that? I thought the red and blue connection points would telescope into the vehicles?
  11. Hey, The scheme is okay. Mr. Max Wat[er Color]nabe know how to execute this scheme. IIRC he has done this before with Gerwalk. Eat you heart out Jackson Pollock.
  12. Nice! Do you have pics in battroid? This would be a TV version, yes?
  13. The Battroid looks impressive. Looking at the neck, Mr. Watanabe took some ideas from the KC VF-1 head bust series.
  14. Well keeping the 1/60 YamaCadias is still a reasonable thing to do. The Bandai DX release schedule is materializing at such a glacial pace that you could never have the entire line as quickly as the 1/60 V2. Sure the DX is sometimes hard to obtain but that never stopped anyone from trying to get the complete series. Nowadays it seems space is the issue. Money not so much as that resource is always funneled elsewhere when DX availability is scarce. Having all scales is fun but time and space just making harder to collect.
  15. I am. But I never worry about it. They always slower but never fail on delivery.
  16. They were. But I didn’t remember the SC figure prototype. The rest of the VF were just added in there to refresh my mind.
  17. Found pic on the Mexico Macross Fans FB page. I thought MEP Toys was the only company doing Southern Cross figures. Or at least toying with the idea.
  18. Sorry can’t sleep. So after looking at the picture again, I noticed the shoulder joints are not the Yamato/Arcadia type any longer. They appear to be DX style. Makes me wonder if the slide mechanism is now available on these. KC is really upping their game. If these changes are going to be available on new releases, then it would be hard not to consider adding this to any collection. Hopefully they correct the crummy hip connector for fighter mode.
  19. Not sure, but it looks like they are adding metal feet as well. Here’s the original prototype with plastic feet. NEVERMIND, feet are metal on first release. These are probably just primed.
  20. Going with a 1S custom works really with the Hikaru paint scheme. Awesome job!
  21. Cool. Time to get some more figures. Did you guys notice KC is now showing an updated version of their VF-1, with Bandai style hips. Second pic is for reference of the first version as reviewed by Jenius at Anymoon.
  22. Congratulations Roberto and Ted!! You both did an amazing job on these kits.
  23. Not publicizing the KC editions. Just wanted to point out that they seem to be coming out with a version 2 of their VF-1 using the Bandai DX hips. Shoulder are also similar to DX and no longer Yamato/Arcadia type.
