    According to an MW member on here know as Major Tom said this is the prototype color palette that Hikaru was supposed to use. Because the colors did not look “hero” worthy this color combination was passed on and the grayish-white with red accent color combination was used instead. Hope Major Tom can chime in to validate or elaborate further on the story.

    Working from home does afford some late night building. Time to work on the 1/8000 Zentradi Fleet. The Quedol-Magdomillia should have been printed in two parts instead of one. So, I will be doing some scratch building a bit on these.

    Definite Pass. If they release a VF-1A CF TV or DYRL then I would only purchase that as my last Bandai DX. Two seater might bring me back but seems highly unlikely they will get produced. The fact that Bandai is not addressing this is not giving me the confidence to support them. This is hard for me to state as I really do like purchasing VF-1(s).

    I have an extra VF-1A I can dig out and check. Might have to check an Elintseeker, Ostrich, as well as, Strike Valkyries. All of these had stickers. We’re there any other toys like the 1/55s? Maybe JMs that had a sticker as well or were those only stamped. I can’t recall.

    Bummer. That seems to be the normal response as of late. Many companies and individuals are issuing tracking numbers but beyond there control shipments could be delays much more than usual due to the bottleneck effect this is causing. I hope everyone gets their kits.

    Nice. For all those who have the repeated leg armor syndrome this would be an excellent solution to display your VF-1A valkyrie.

    I am in total agreement with on this. There are just way too many inconsistencies with the DX. What makes it worse is when a comparison using the hybrid stylized lineart of the Macross File books or Hasegawa mode sheets is used. Those just make everyone forget how they should actually be shaped. Here are some raw pictures of what the leading edge of the TV VF-1 canopies should be.

    Nice!! What type of resin are you using to make these? I remember using various types of resin, but the one that worked best were those that hardened to a plastic finish versus those that seemed to warp over time. Great work!

    Twitch, Your idea is spot on, I like your idea. I for one would definitely buy all the new varieties. If they did this I might even reconsider the M&M set already out. ”Taste the Rainbow” indeed!

    This is the only reason I decided not to buy these. It reminds me of HMR and the same issue that exists.
