    This subject gets very confusing and I often get confused just talking about the leg instead of the ankle or vice versa. In order to help everyone here especially myself, here is a picture of fighter mode legs. In the picture with the angles extended you can see the correct orientation of the ankles as they relate to the leg. In the picture with ankles retracted you can see in the yellow circle how the foot points outwards and is not in alignment with the leg. Hope this helps someone. If anyone needs the extra legs flanking the SV-51 by all means hit me up. I bought these from apptt4, a really cool member from Australia who helped me out when in was need. So now I don’t need them as my Arcadia is finally in great working order. Thanks again apptt4.

    If you were lucky enough to get preorder, then yes. If not, well no. The Kairos is w awesome but not for the insane prices on the second and third markets. It sure would be nice if Bandai released another wave of these.

    The TV-1A Max did not come with the figure as they were supposed to from the original release. What you would have to do is contact the retailer to send you the hands that were meant to accompany the figure since those came in later from Yamato. The 4 hands would arrive in a small white box with a clear clamshell inside holding the parts in place. Kakyzaky on the other hand did come with hands inside the box. Max is relatively easy to come across nowadays but Kakyzaky is like a herpetic flare up in that you just you just never know when he’ll pop up.

    Wow, that looks great! Which color did you use and brand. Even if they are a bit yellow, these old 1/48s do look great overall.

    Tekering, Those panels look fantastic!! I can only imagine how they would look on the 1/3000. And the reshapeing pf the Daedalus is simply stunning!! For hinges there are a multitude of sources. You can either look in model train stores or sites for PE types. Or use option parts for Gundam. Seriously, this build is breathtaking.

    Arcadia’s YF-19 is definitely a pleasure to transform, but those ankles can be a bit of a bummer. when you start your panel lining, post up a WIP thread so we can see it from start to finish. Looking forward to your take on customizing.

    Nice review Jenius. I can’t remember the last time I handled these. Sure I transformed each of them one or twice each and then they went into their cardboard coffins. The YF-29 is a beautiful bird. But with the super parts it just seems okay. Not fond of the gloves that goes over each wing. Bandai could have done a better job to reduce the additional weight and stress on the wings. Honestly, I don’t remember if mine had any floppy joints as I usually take measures to address such things. Need to pull these out again. Maybe one day...

    There definitely is more than plenty of room for a ball joint. Just need to be creative and source the right tools and joint to utilize.

    These are truly a beautiful pair. You could never display one without the other. It would be like hanging a frame with no picture. Awesome work!

    Giving props back to your original posts. Don’t know how I missed this, but boy did I miss out. So glad to see you’re continuing with your custom. It somewhat reminds me of the original schemes planned for the 25th Anniversary 1/48. Keep going!
