The hand looks amazing! Finally after all these years Axtel has created the perfect hand. Looking over reference material the hand is still a tad small. You could gain more space in the storage cavity if you create the proper sliding mechanism to retract the hand. Use the x-ray poster as your reference and you’ll see what I mean. Can’t wait to see more.

Thanks Jenius and Derex. Just having my daughter work on this with me was astounding and to top it off with my son’s help was sheer joy. Now they feel like they can build anything and they have the proof to show it. My daughter, according to her future plans of education will be Deerfield, Amherst, and graduate from MIT. This girl is incredibly smart and can definitely accomplish her goal. So proud of her. -
Nice color and great finish. Is this red with a bit or orange added? From the pictures it looks like pumpkin or persimmon in color.

That’s a great idea! It sure would allow for a complete set of Drakens.

They don’t but their urine does. Plus having the heat lamp on accelerates the evaporation which Would give off a smell. Not sure if this is the cause though. Are your figures displayed opened on shelves or still in their boxes?

I sure hope Bandai completes the baddies and Destroid sets. Ever since the initial release it gave me hope that one day all these sets would adorn a shelf in all their majesty on a shelf somewhere in my house.

At first glance I thought you had this on the USS Flagg. Which carrier is this? How long and tall is it? Thanks in advance. -
Interesting. I would definitely like an upgrade on my 1/48. The HMR Glaug is rich with articulation and I can only imagine how much more can be done in DX form.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but the subject is just so fitting. Since the pandemic and stay-at-home practice we have had a lot of time on our hands. My daughter is headed off to boarding school in MA for the next four years starting mid next week and leaving her home in CA. She is very excited and before she left she asked if we could put the Rambler together and get it running. So my son 9, daughter 13, and myself embarked on getting this little six-banger back on the road. We accomplished our goal in just two months. We flushed the fuel system and replaced the tank, rebuilt replaced and installed the engine and transmission, and have gone through all the vital systems. The car runs great and is a lot fun to take out on the road. This gem has a lot of pep for it’s age, and is still rock solid. My daughter feels so accomplished now that she learned how to put together a car and get it back on the road. This classic has been stored for the past 16 years and now is finally as it should be. I restored the car about 27 years ago and the paint still holds up great! My son was so excited to go on the freeway and just loved the idea that he used his two hands to help with the reconstruction. To top it off, both my kids had never been driven in this car, they just love how roomy and simple it is. We are so fortunate to have great long lasting memory during these turbulent times. 2020 went to the crapper in many ways, but for us we just made the best of what we had. I am so proud of how much my kiddos were so headstrong and demonstrated their drive to get this job done. Love my kiddos and this car is back to being a live member of our family! -

Yikes. That used to be member here years ago and used to have a good reputation. After he was banned he went sour and is still up to the same old shenanigans. Avoid this seller like cancer. -
I really wanted to buy into Kakyzaky and Roy, but goddam Bandai and their continuing practices to avoid any corrections. They blatantly don’t care. This line could have been my all-time favorite but I just can’t seem to get over all the inconsistencies present. To me it feels like your buying a Ferari and getting a Ferari. So close, but yet so farr. I’ll just keep my other DXs and drop my support until two seaters are released.

That’s a beautiful car!! Reminds me of my brother’s real Mach1. Only my brothers had the Lou era on the rear window and Keystone wheels. When he bought the car a lot of extra parts were included including the Magnum 500 wheels and a separate honeycomb rear panel cover. That car was amazing and thank you JVMacross for res parking those memories.

Until Arcadia releases the 1/60 Regult, there is always this as a stand in also at 1/60. The guy 3D prints and paints them. These come out of Buenos Aires. -
So if Bandai is making a TV “accurate” VF-1S Roy Focker... why are we stills getting DYRL articulated hands? It kind of defeats the purpose doesn’t it?
