Anasazi37, How goes the next custom? Any progress you can share? Would love to see a WIP thread. -

Phenomenal work. I like your choice of going eight the primary lens as dark blue versus blue.

Macross DYRL 1984 film promotional materials
nightmareB4macross replied to jvmacross's topic in Collectors
I was using Jauce. Even my history is limited as it does not show several items I have purchased in the past. I will have to search all 60 pages and slowly put through them. Originally that’s how I came across the listing. Thanks for trying. -

Will you be modifying or upgrading any parts? Swivels at the knees and double jointed elbows is all I’m saying.

Need some help with a recently purchased 1/55 Bandai VF-1S Strike
nightmareB4macross replied to Kamui 777's topic in Toys
There are a few out there but the pricing is not realistic. Complete MIB examples can sell for around 450-500. -
You can also use piano wire. It’s super thin and extremely strong. Just note that you will have roughen the surface to make sure it adds bonded strength to your repair.
-
Oh that sucks. I hope this doesn’t affect the limited gold accent version. My regular release has the same issue on one arm. I might have to look into repairing the part.
-
Did you have success with your repairs?

Time to hunt down another one. KO vF-1S never go out of style. It surprises me that to this day these two entities still exist...Repos of the VF-1 1/55 and HappyWell.
-
Fingers crossed for new information to be released for the new YF-21. Was there much to be updated or modified since the last set of pictures. Honestly, from what was shown there really didn’t seem to appear much more room for improvement. It seemed ready for market.

Hopefully, Bandai pulls through with more HMR. Slowly loosing hope for this line. Maybe there’s hope after this exhibition.
-
That right there is what really is frustrating about the Delta line. So many great opportunities to produce more VF that it’s hard to believe Bandai doesn’t want to milk the molds that already exist.

It’s a 1/6th scale German trench coat. There are plenty of providers of this scale.
-
Thanks. Having three or more each isn’t a bad thing.
-
You could buy an outfit that resembles the Zentradi suit and add a little paint and wiring to make it look the part. All in at about 20 bucks.
-
There are also two other versions of this. One has orange fast parts and the other has silver fast parts. The Valkyrie remains the same color for all three.
-
Has anyone seen any posts of upcoming events that might host Bandai? Hopefully new items will be presented then.. Speculation has never lead us to a concrete answer. I really am looking forward to more HM-R and DX news.

Looking forward to Red Comets efforts 2-3 months from now. Plenty of time to track and record what should have been better on an already achieved attempt. But given what Red Comet has done I have faith and hope he pulls through.
