Without dispute you are totally correct.

I have to say, no matter how craptacular these are people still tend to buy them. I remember being on the band wagon for these when first introduced. Now I look back and realized they were fine for the time a long, long time ago. To this day I still own some. From time to time, I consider getting rid of them, but then I just leave them be. Lots of customs made with these.

The work Lek does is truly astounding. I often check out his repaints due to the upbeat music and his incredible skill to make amazing customs.

Hope this will suffice for now. I will be displaying these and more at SDCon in October. You should all come out and enjoy and support this time honored event. For the fans by the fans. -
If only the DX could have the arm attachment for the escape cockpit. C’mon Bandai. We have faith in you. Maybe a second console that swivels out of the way. Now that you know, it should not be too hard to make the next one perfect. You can do it!

Thank you. The customs are a menagerie from various customizers here on MW. -

Yes sir, they are. Soon to be on display at this year’s SDCon. -
Maybe. Just look at all the Macross references. Well the bottom does look like most TF with every robot appendage hanging out. Pure gold.

I always hoped for blanks. Takatoku always promoted the idea of customization and as a tribute these would be perfect.

I hope you’re right. The canopy length is very hard to capture while attempting to keep a great looking Battroid. The other big challenge is using the proper sized trapezoids on the chest to get the right look for any mode.

The 'Hey look at this really cool model build I saw' post

Such an amazing piece of art! I love th fact that he used Kakyzaky instead of Hikaru. A truly talented and dedicated individual. -
Does anyone one know why the seats ran instead of army green?? Also, doe the VF-1D have a second console for the second seat or was that a Hasegawa creation? From many various perspectives there seems to be a second console in the anime but not in the lineart.

There still might be a market for a select group of customizers and collectors. Just not sure how big that market would be. Maybe cross post interest in other media platforms could garner more potential customers. Do you have a sample to show of your current progress? I think Anazasi used to make these sets. I believe I still have some in my customs piles. Wish you luck on your project.

[Netflix] Masters of the Universe: Revelation
nightmareB4macross replied to Old_Nash's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
My daughter and I watched the whole season and she liked it. Se remembered seeing the original series when she was five. She also felt this would have been better suited as a movie vs a series of episodes. The new show was interesting. I was more mesmerized by the use of characters which were never animated, or that I’ve never seen before. We’ll be waiting for season two. -
Very cool and creative!! Nice work!

You should be seeing your “request to pay” or “pay for shipping” update today. I just happened to recieve mine and promptly completed my transaction with them. Figure in the way!
