  1. This version is the same box used for this version on the right “I Trasformibli”, according to Tony Y. I have never peaked under the sticker, but I guess I have to validate his claim. TT V3 vs “I Trasformibli“ Box textures are very different. Zoom in and you’ll see.
  2. Is there any mention of this type of VF-1A head? the mold does not match the Kanzen Henkei nor any 1A in model kit form that I can recall. There is also white visions of these VFs released.
  3. Thanks, but it’s not intentional. When I bring stuff out it usually from boxes that contain the same type of scale.
  4. These remnant TT in Matsushiro packaging have all been dark brown canopies from what I have seen and owned. Possible left overs of the second wave of the original TT run.
  5. According to Tony Yao, versions that have the "Transformabli" sticker are Takatoku boxes. Under the sticker they are printed with “Made in Taiwan”. Note: the embossing patterns on both of these is very different. And the "Transformabli" box is slightly darker green.
  6. http://robottobsession.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html?m=1 FYI -
  7. The gunpod handle of the 1/55 is far too big for the 1/100. They can’t share the weapon.
  8. So odd. Was this a Japanese catalog printed for the English speaking market?
  9. It was probably due to what was available to whomever received the molds. While many KOs have the Sasuraiger weapon there are other with the correct VF-1 gunpod. Aside from a few gunpods missing from the VF-1J Max, there was also many JM VF-1J Milia with missing stickers sheets. Missing parts could have been due to Takatoku closing it’s doors or Bandai not producing enough for unaccounted and unanticipated inventory from the incumbent manufacturer. I believe this information was found in the old threads.
  10. Agreed. After so many prior releases one would figure they would reinvest in the mold and create a better iteration to go with the classic artwork.
  11. As an added note. Many VF-1J Max types did not come with gunpods.
  12. From what you have posted in these pics there really isn’t much more. Once in a while I would see bagged items, but the baggies were never consistent. Some were heat sealed, others taped, some stapled, and sometimes the bag was just folded over. But the baggies were never the same size type, mil, or quality. Suffice to say the items had a place where they were set into the foam trays and that pretty much answers your query. Hope this helps.
  13. I just believe it to be a preference by Kawamori. The F-14 had a wing sweep that allows perfect stowage of the wings. The F-15 would require more thought process at the time to develop it into something more robust. just my two cents.
  14. It sold well due to the weapons cache. Someone was hoarding weapons, clips, and missiles. Without the cache I don’t think the listing would have done well. Still a great haul for the winner. Congratulations to the new owner.
  15. Very cool work @Bobby. Happy Holidays!!
  16. That came out fantastic. The color combination works really well on the VF-4. What a great way to end 2022…Sundowners style.
  17. Nice. I remember seeing these on the 101 Fwy back in the 90s. Along with other calendar candy 🍬 of it’s time (and previous). In person it is such a small and low car that it could be considered a ramp on wheels.
  18. Isn’t this Tenjin art from the Macross Chronicles. Looking good!
  19. Wow, that’s a lot of packaging. will you be doing a straight from the manual assembly or doing a custom build? Hikaru type? Weathered? More detailed? Would love to see and follow your progress as you go.
  20. I agree with you on this sentiment. Cool mini me of the GBP, but might have to pass on this. I’d rather have a new mold released from the Destroids set. Besides, the DX GBP turned into a shelf warmer so this strategy to push a dud is strange.
  21. Pretty cool as always. Swap out the heat shield for o e from a VF-1J and it would be perfect.
  22. Take a look here for many custom 1/55 schemes. https://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/gallery/category/3-155-customs/ Welcome to Macrossworld.
  23. Custom. or low budget Enigma.
  24. Are you guys trying to do dynamic poses? Honestly, the stands don’t look like they are meant to do much other than let gravity take hold and that’s about it.
  25. @Shawn would be nice to get full three sixty pics of those boxes. They would look great as part of any collection or display.
