  1. Kin, I still need to get my wife's cam, but here goes the fighter as requested. (Sorry about the crappy pics.)
  2. Try this... Blue_Legioss_Torso.doc
  3. Corel Presentation.
  4. Hope this makes more sense. Blue_Legioss_Cavity.wpg
  5. Valk1J, I actually cut the torso in half (yikes)! After you cut the torso in half, the chest is then a seperate part and so is the new pelvic system. ***VERY IMPORTANT, in order to cut the torso you NEED a micro saw and a very patient and steady hand. When the chest is put back together, you will note there is a cavity that can be filled with a rod or any joint system of your choice. When you cut it you will see what I mean. The same cavity will appear in the pelvis as well. I'll try to post more pictures soon, so that you can see what I mean.
  6. Thanks, Bobe-Pat. Soon, real soon, you will have better pics. I really had a lot of fun doing this. I even inventoried all the parts and did a somewhat exploded view of the Legioss, just to help me put it back together. In the meantime.....
  7. Well, this is my first Mospeada custom (used Imai as a reference). I know the pic is awful, but my wife's digicam is on the frits. This pic was taken with my cell phone. The custom was made from an original Japanese Gakken (totally yellowed, completed and unbroken). The torso swivels (look carefully) and the paint is scratch-proof, I used Plastikote (vinyl and plastic dye paint). I am completely surprised on how well this stuff works and hold ups to many transformations. Good stuff. For now this is the only pic, more will be posted (better of course), in all three modes and various poses, in the future. Check it out, and let me know what you think. Thanks, Alex
  8. FF, Why not just leave it "as is" it would look as a "low viz" type valk. It could even pass as a protoype of the SV-51 flown in the series. Simply Magnificent!
  9. I thought cell phones only caused cancer...not siezures.
  10. No...THANK YOU, for taking the time and having the patience for doing such a fantastic job. EXSSSELLENT!!!
  11. Hey Graham, Would you consider posting a seperate section for "Other Models" being all non-Macross items? I would definitely like to see Noel's recent Gundam work posted there (or of course the models section). Alex
  12. That is really inspiring. Great work!!! Did you by chance, happen to take pictures during your build up?
  13. That is one sweet brotha' Shut yo' mouth! I'm only talking a HIROHAWA.
  14. Cambodian Tire, If anything, do not use this near any television sets. It will distort the color permanently. I would recomment mounting it to any that is NOT an electronic device.
  15. Hey Ed.Coli, Why not just take one of the extra pilots from your VF-1D (assuming you have one), and put the back seat driver in your emty fodder. Besides, who wants to ride shotgun. No girl ever checks out the guy riding shot gun, they look at the shot caller...the driver.
  16. Godzilla, We'll if you are going to put a stop to your collection once you find your significant other...how about a little help? How about I trade you... my one cousin (single, and ready to mingle), for your ten Low Viz? Just looking out. NB4M.
  17. Just Trying to help.
  18. Could this help?.
  19. Godzilla, Jeez your house looks like a mess!! I'll come right over and help you clean it up, just let me know where you live!!! NB4M
  20. Well actually, if you place the boxes up in the attic by themselves that would be just fine. Just remember there are small animals that do tend to navigate and use as shelter and breed in cardboard boxes. I store most of my boxes and items in the aforementioned method. So far it has been 10 years and still working great. Everytime I open one box I place at least a handfull of mothballs to help detour small animals from wanting to get into the boxes.
  21. Hirohawa, For small boxes, try storing them in totes, they are relatively strong and stackable (useful in small storage spaces). For large boxes use a large box that you can assemble in the attic, line the inside with a plastic bag and tape and place the boxes inside. You can also fit boxes within boxes to make more room. Once they are store, place a few moth balls in there to repel small animals (they just hate the smell). And never forget to place or write an inventory on the box. This you will appreciate when you need to find something inside the boxes (or totes) without opening them.
  22. Hey Newbie, Look what I found. The valkyrie never wore pants just leggings. (Click on the small picture right above the VF-1A head) Look ma', no pants.
  23. Those are the most beautiful birds, I have ever seen. Seeing your work is trully inspiring. One question though. Aren't there supposed to be lights on the sides of the nosecone?
  24. Newbie, Thanks for the pics. My jaw just dropped when I saw the gerwalk mode... ...now you have force me to do one as well. Amazing custom. I think you can make the pants for this, although it would remind of that old saying. "Hey there big boy. Is that a nosecone in your pocket or are you just happy to see?"
  25. Newbie, That is one sweet custom. Does the jacket still fit in Gerwalk Mode? You know the part where Max gets discovered and is bolting out of the Zentradi ship with the coat on...I always liked that scene, it's one of my faves. Gerwalk Mode with Coat Please!
