  1. Incredible work, do the Drifand Dal next.
  2. Thanks for the comments guys. Black Valkyrie - Scalecoat is the name of the paint remover (only 10 buck a bottle). It is specifically designed not to harm or alter plastic. I picked it up at a trian hobby shop named "Allied Model Trains" located in Culver City, California. They also have a website, just punch it in any search engine.
  3. Heliodore Posted on Apr 13 2005, 06:50 AM Excellent job, they look so clean and shiny. How'd you get the white to look so great?
  4. Thanks, Graham.
  5. My sincerest apologies to the moderators of MW...I really screwed up big. Please combine all my threads. Sorry.
  6. and finally hangin' with Hikaru.
  7. Here is something I am in the process of completing. Just a couple of VF-1As having fun...Enjoy.
  8. Godzilla, Couldn't the same heatshield be used? The cockpit does not appear to be extended. From the looks of it, it doesn't appear it would have to be. The only major difference I could see is since the cavity of where the head rests in battroid mode. The head would be slightly higher than other VFs due to way it is set up. For Example: regular VF shoulder to shoulder line: ---_______---- VF-1D shoulder to shoulder line: ------------------- Check the Design Works and you'll see what I mean.
  9. Goodness Gracious!!! That looks incredible. Can it transform? Will it be taller than the regular VF, in battroid mode?
  10. Oh yeah, and a 1/55 VF-1S Strike UD, I am talking all the bells and whistles with removable body panels, lit canopy, and plethora of other alterations. * = Design Works
  11. Kurt, Incredible work as always, you never fail to impress me. **I just started to make my own set of these, but in 1/55. I should have them completed within a few days. You really do have the golden touch when it comes to creating art. NB4M
  12. Awesome Custom!!!
  13. He could be selling recasts, but he also sell originals as well. He recently had a orginal GBP with a Taka VF-1S Super (no armour) combo. I was really tempted to get it. Anyone got a GBP 1/55 they would like to sell?
  14. Zero-mare, Actually, it is a very low level custom. This was my first attempt of using Plastikote on resin. The head came as an extra from Mlz22. I had to rework the head, as it was the type that would tuck deep into the fuselage of a non-transformable 1/55. The body itself is a VF-1J Reissue that was stipped of its red black tampo print, I used Scalecoat. The only items painted were the metal parts and platikote on the blue details (shale blue). The stickers were all home-made (and office printed). The gun is from a $5 bootleg, and the armour is from a VF-1S Super Reissue. BTW, sorry about the pics. My first time using a new camera. ***Look around and you will see other things, such as: VF-1S Kakizake 1/55 VF-1S Max 1/55 VF-1D "Virgin Road" 1/55 Taka Legioss 1/35 Gakken - "Plastikoted" Enjoy. 15. Exo, ...only the GBP wasn't fully ripened yet, hence the missing arm guard.
