Funny how back in the old days people would customize Jetfires to Macross VFs and now it's vice versa.
Who'd 'uve thunk it?
Still a great looking custom.
I dunno, I think I would take the one on the right. The one in the middle looks like the head is "prairie doggin'."
Besides, the sculpt from yamato looks like it is a real pain to pose, but a pleasure to own.
No matter what, I am still going to buy two from Yama-yama-tamato.
Jasonc,
Try drilling a pilot hole. This will help you set the piece exactly where you want to set it. Also, it will expose the resin so it maybe attached to the sprue using CA Glue, bonding almost instantly.
If you use an angled sprue I think an an "L" shape or elbow would be usefull. It could also help when you glue it down it would present you with more surface to set together.
I hope this made sense.
Exo,
Phew, for a moment there I thought I had my work cut out for me.
I just met with BigKid24, cool guy. I mentioned to him about the cake. I told him I would do it only if there would be a couple of people (you being one of them) who would be willing to play the parts in that episode.
Who would you be? Max? Millia?
FYI, I am also a cake decorator part time.
I was thinking of going to MWCon5 with a cake, possibly macross related. Plus my birthday is June 20th, the day after the Con.
BTW - What time is the Con at and where exactly is it going to held? How many are attending and will it be potluck of food and toys/models?
What are the prizes for custom works?
So many questions, so little answers.
Does anyone have more pictures of this?
Front, back, left, right, top, bottom. I have only the pics of it, in the DW and that really isn't enough.
Any help would be appreciated.
What collection.
Missing a NEO GEO.
Also missing, is a Texas Ranger system. One of the first ping pong home arcade type systems.
This place looks almost like my brother's room, only the one featured here is much better. He frequents pawn shops just to buy old games and systems at really cheap prices.
BigKid24,
I am actually heading over there on Friday at about 2pm (lunchtime), if you want to meet up that would be great.
They have so many great parts for models, scratchbuilds, and electronics that it will amaze you. Not mention they have fantastic dioramas.
Le tme know if you want to meet up.

NB4M
That's pretty cool, we atleast they kept the idea from the cartoons where Prime transports others in his trailer.
I just wish they would make a Cosmos in that scale, or even a Skylynx. Both allowing autobots to get inside an pilot the Cosmos and Skylynx.
BTW- Is roller included with the trailer?
Thanks for the comments guys.

Scalecoat is the name of the paint remover (only 10 buck a bottle). It is specifically designed not to harm or alter plastic. I picked it up at a trian hobby shop named "Allied Model Trains" located in Culver City, California. They also have a website, just punch it in any search engine.
