  1. That is tooooooo beautiful for words. I still am not very fond of the head, though this one is somewhat appealing to eye.
  2. Actually, AMC was purchased by Daimler/Chrysler and many parts are sold under the Chrysler name to this very day. Gremlins were only created to compete with the Ford Pinto (which actually sold with feverish success) in sales. The AMX run from 1972 on, basically it was intented as an environmentally friendly vehicle that just flopped. Since AMC demise, much interest has befallen these vehicle (mainly musclecaresque types). It is a well know fact that AMC Engines, particularly the 232ci were widely used by JEEP as they are extremely well built and reliable blocks. I personally own a 1969 AMC Rambler, 199cu, In-line 6, Alpine White with Metallic Blue interior (a real grandpa car). It really is a wonderful car. Everytime I show up at a carshow, someone always begins to tell me stories of the time when they or someone in their family owned one at some point in their history. Still, one day I would like to own a SCRambler Type "A", but $25,000 for a decent specimen seems a bit steep right now. I might just consider building a clone. ***And when I begin building it, what forum would it be under?
  3. I hope you mean 'screw-in'? If not, you sure have weird sexual preferences. Graham ...and a moderator with a smart ass comment.
  4. Hi guys, I'm NOOB here can anyone tell me how to screw a lightbulb? Sorry if this has been asked before.
  5. Here is the one I really want the Type "A", again this is the original paint scheme. 1969 is the last year this marque was produced. The name "Rambler" has bee around since 1912. Since AMC was closing they decided to make several marks that would go down in history, this little hard-top bomb would be one of them. Also, the Hurst Corporation collaborated with AMC to create this wonderful machine. 390 cid, BW-T10 4-Speed, 3:51 Gears, Thrush mufflers...I think, I'll stop now. I'm drooling SCrambler.bmp
  6. I still love old American Muscle Cars...The AMC Scrambler is actually a dream car of mine. The Type "B" version pictured below is not mine. And yes that is the factory paint scheme. The car would run low 14s to high 13s in the quarter mile without any modifications. SC_Rambler.bmp
  7. Whatever happened to the decals for JMs, I have been patiently waiting for details of when these are available and when to send payment (I already know where to send it).
  8. and someone being the "Son of a Lightbulb"
  9. Pretty funny stuff. ...and 1 to say "I tried screw the thingy to the thing that the other things are connected to to make the lightbulb work well with the thingy....." ...and 3 to say "please post pic" after all the appropriate sites have been linked.
  10. I thought the preview was a bit bland. All except for the precursor to the BATMOBILE. That is one mean mutha!!!
  11. Ain't that the truth... Still I am obligated to keep my VF-1S Roy MPC (it's a gift from my wife). It was the first valkyrie she ever bought me. Also I still think it looks great (dodges flying stones). I have only taken it out once, transformed it once and placed it back in the respective boxes. I do enjoy it, it reminds me of where it all began for me...from RT...then to MACROSS FOREVER.
  12. Hubba, Hubba, did you see the rack on that valk.
  13. I think the most trouble in creating this sculpt would be, the electronic equipment on the right arm. I am referencing th pics in the DW and it appears the equipment retract into the arm (no hands on this valk). As far as the radome is concerned (in battroid mode), I think it is actually attached to the back hatch. This method would allow the head to move back into to the body when transforming into gerwalk or valkyrie mode.
  14. Start with a very dark (prefereably black) primer and work the white on gradually to develop a grayish white color.
  15. Takatoys, I'll take a set. Sent PM.
  16. Dude, quit checking me out while I take a leak!! _____________________________________ Seriously though, that looks incredible. Are there panel lines all over or are the details limited to certain areas? How heavy is it? Are the barrels also resin or PVC?
  17. Does the cockpit hatch have hinges? If not, is there ample room to install them?
  18. Use a couple of lamps to light it up!! Then click, click, click and more click!!!
  19. Was that the JM Rhoby casted in color?
  20. WOW!!! Awesome job on that custom JETFIRE. Requesting MORE PICS in various modes with fastback.
