1. I whole-heartedly disagree. I wrote a post a while back comparing the Toynami to the Gakken and the Toynami won out. I will probably be selling one of the big ol' Gakkens soon so if you're really interested keep an eye out. I will also do a picture review for y'all when I get the chance. The Gakken is definitely the more sturdy of the toys though, with that part I do agree. That being said, the Gakkens were no where near a 10 on a scale to 10. They have knees that break super easy and a host of other problem areas. 326254 I have heard of the knee-cap issue, and also the wing and shoulder issues as well, but this was usually due to improper tansformation. It is very easy to snap a part when it it forced. Gakkens have a very unique, step by step transformation sequence. If you miss one and try to go forward on the the next sequence...SNAP!!! Same applies to any an all transforming toys. Still, IMHO, I would rate the Gakken a 10.
2. Amen to that brother.
3. Keep it up! You're doing a fantastic job!!
4. Looking good!!! But I would have to agree on the shading it makes it actually look small. I think thinner and lighter shading would give it a larger than life look. Excellent choice in colors. One more thing, the skull insignia on the heatsheild really dosn't do much for valk.
5. Awe, that's sweet. From what you just wrote, I think I saw a heart beating in the chest of your avatar.
6. honneamise, Your level of detail and skill is trully amazing. What other work have you done in the past?? I really would like to see more of your work. I think the color is perfect for this particular ship, it closely resembles the color of the TV SDF-1. You should take one pic with it using a black background. Inspired, NB4M
7. Cuz, she's one BAD MAMA JAMMA!!!
8. WM Cheng's Fible Optic lit Enterprise
9. I tried to locate something on fibre optic lit models, but instead came across LEDs installed in Hasegawa Models
10. My thoughts and prayers are with you my friend.
11. 1. Defenitely worth my time, space, and money. 2. I think the only improvements to be done on a 1/48 would be: a. anything better than chicken hands b. slightly narrowed chest width c. thicker arms d. line art transformation sequence (no swing bars) e. removable nosecone emergency escape capsule. d. non-removeable intake covers e. better hip and shoulder mobility f. sliding pilot seats (would slide up in battroid mode) g. VF TWO SEATER VARIANTS h. Taka/Bandai durability and construction with diecast parts i. .................... 3. Contributions: a. Hasegawa decals and details b. Yamato interpretation of line-art c. Bandai construction and tampo printing ***d. Banpresto style interchangeable heads ***e. Takatoku (defunct) style packaging, would be the icing on the cake!!! NB4M
12. I would definitely have to say any VF-1 type. The design and realistic factor these portriat is far more superior and believable than anything else.

14. That price seems pretty steep to me. If your patient you might be able to come across one for $80.00 to $100.00 US. Just keep looking.
15. Now, now...boys (Hurin & Skull Leader) I don't think it would be worth it if both of you were to beat each other "black and blue" over the color of Max's heatshield. After all it's only a heatshield.
16. Actually, IIRC the YF-1R made two appearances... First Appearance was on a recon mission with Hikaru and they discovered an abandoned weapons depot. Second Appearance: hand-to-hand combat with Zentradi, some time arter the first appearance. I think the episodes where this valk appears is somewhere between eps 28-31(?).
17. This is definite must have!!!
18. 319449 Hey Agent GHQ, How's it going? Try looking at the Gundam Store. They always have sales on the 1/60s. Give me a call later. NB4M
19. QUOTE(JBO @ Aug 10 2005, 06:07 PM) The burden of power. Can't ignore the idiots because they're the people most likely to need your special touch. I wish I could post naked pictures of myself here. 319423 Are you looking for that "special touch"?
20. How ironic if the sticker that got stuck to the bottom of your foot actually said "NO STEP".
21. You only get robber when it's against your will. This was just plain haste and stupidity on the buyers part.
22. Graham, How about in the Toys Section, you make room for some of these abominations? List them under "What "F" was that. It would include all customs in all scales.
23. I had noticed that too, just thought it was some sort of error. What exaclty does it mean...is google registered user? For what purpose?
24. He F***ED it up. Hey katana67, is this your work?
