Hey Kid, What's up? When I get home I'll send you pic of the 1/55 retracting hands and covers I had mentioned to you about (still work in progress). Thanks for the compliment about my SKILLZ. Seriously, though I would like to create something that will blow all customs away at the next Con contest. And also introduce my 1/55 / 1/48 fully articulated hands. Hopefully I can finish this project really soon.

If you didn't happen to notice it the first time... look closely at the cockpit and you will notice Rhoby also made control handles (the other fell off during transformation). Plus the canopy is completely vacu-formed. It is trully amazing what Rohby can create, he is a god among men.

Why not just shell out 30 bucks for a bootleg, Macross Design Works. The mecha is in there and you can keep at your fingertips for quick referencing.

This little JM is beyond words.... You really had to be there and talk with Rohby on how he created this thing. KidKorrupt and I were in complete mesmerized awe when he bagan to demonstrate it abilities. When, Rohby began transforming it, everyone in the room just held their breath (only cause Rohby had stated some of the pieces were not completely ready for transformation). ***Note: the JM is entirely scratchbuilt. None of the parts on that little guy came from an original JM. Great job Rohby!!!

Unfortunately, I missed the entire session with Mari, but BigKid24 and Solscud were cool enough to get me an autographed CD. Thanks guys!! I had a great time meeting new people and making friends. Hope you guys enjoyed the cake.

I basically pulled an all-nighter to get this MG 2 strike custom done in time for the Con. It looks really good standing next to its older brother (the MG 1 strike on the right). When I saw those two next to each other at the Con, my jaw just dropped. Seeing those in person is trully an awesome experrience. Excellent work Anasazi37!!!

I think the first thing you should do is take the valkyrie apart. You don't want to try and remedy the problem with the valkyrie fully intact. From the looks of it, it seems as if what you used had a bad chemical reaction that actually melted the parts in question. You might want to consider wet sanding the part with 1200 grit. Then, once the part seems somewhat smooth, polish it with a dremel tool and polishing attachment. Other than that, you either find replacement parts or paint it. Just remember when restoring a toy, it really is about patience. You must not rush the process of wanding as it will damage the parts further (loosing details and such). If you are coming to the Con, bring it with you and I'm more than sure I can help. Remember, patience is the key. NB4M

Hey guys, it looks like I will be making it to the Con after all. Only thing is I will be there after noon, or so. I really wasn't sure if I was going to make it but my wife waid to go ahead and just take the rest of the day off, she'll cover for me the reaminer of the day. The reason why I will be arriving at after noon is that I will be visiting my recently departed father. Paying my respects on "Father's Day". Solscud007, can you confirm the number of attendees to the Con? I am a professional cake decorator (part time) and would like to bring a cake that would be enough for all!!!! This will definitely be a custom cake I will be entering in the customs contest. Hope I can something, at least a congratulations or a door prize. If not, at least i will be able to meet fellow members of MW. See ya' there.
