  1. I painted the inside with burnt iron, metalized the outside with mr. metal color dark iron and the turbines with mr. super metallic , super iron. The weathering was done with pastels, I don't even try to take a pics of the inside, it's already hard take a pic of the outside, sorry for the crappy pic. ************ Don't give up on taking pics. They are the meat of your posts. Keep up the great work. So are you condsidering lit up afterburners?
  2. I like this pic. It has a feel of being a premonition of what's to come. If you look at the right leg the details seem to stand out more (more commanding) and show the colors of the skull leader on the small fin of the leg. Pretty neat.
  3. How about a Step-By-Step for Customizing on the main page of MW. This could exist seperately from the model (customs) section and toy (customs) section. This way it would serve as a reference guide. Also, people who are submitting techniques would be able to submit original ideas and not repost methods previously submitted. As far as Step-by-Step build ups, I think this could be set up as a thread that is started and only used by the builder, until he or she is done. Any questions can be answered via PM or e-mails and the builder can then post the answer on the thread, or just describe the efforts/media used in accordance to the questions recieved. Just an idea...
  4. How about some pics of the other Valks and maybe some shots of your other stuff. What's your usuall modelling preference?
  5. Check your "Bulk" mail folder. This is where I received my password.
  6. But this could be a useful guide to use when selecting the color of your VF-1D conversion. BTW- I'll take one please.
  7. How about moving the original list here? Would make it easier than having to restart this thread.
  8. Interesting scheme. Good job.
  9. Dude, I'll pimp you out for toys!! You can dress up as Meltrani slurm. ...at the end of a hard whoring day... B*TCH!!! Where's my Valkyrie!!!! (SLAP)
  10. It's like us trying to understand women and accessories. Only difference is our accessories transform.
  11. glane21, still frequents the forum.
  12. Capt, YGPM. about the road trip, but for the reason why.
  13. Just can't help having much love for these stone-cold, brick-form, valkyries. Customizing these is/was one of the best parts about them. Many people on these boards still seek parts to, at least, do their very own 1/55 custom. Don't hate, , give support, , and extend an olive branch (advice) to all those seeking a bit of mad-chunky-monkey-madness of their own. *I can still remember, there were some pretty awesome customs back in the days, and even to this day. NB4M Long live the 1/55!!
  14. I think I will wait to see what other vendors will have offered up as a pre-sale price for the GBP. Hopefully, a group buy is in the works.
  15. Can you post a pic of what broke? **Just so you know, the pic in my avatar is a 1/35 Legioss.
  16. Let me get back to you with regards to transportation of goods. I think my cousin-in-law will be going to Montreal in the next few weeks (might not be soon enough) but would be passing through MI on his way back. ROAD TRIP! I'll let you know later today.
  17. What is it that your sending and how fragile is it?
  18. Expensive or not, I'm getting at least 3 or 4!!!
  19. Whatever you do...DON'T PULL IT'S FINGER.
  20. Excellent work!!! One question though, when will you make it transform?
  21. Boy, you modellers sure are touchy. Hey thanks, again for the building tips. They sure are helping. Still, I whole-heartedly agree, one set of legs to be used for all three destroid would be very cost effective.
  22. Hey I thought you were a model guy not a toy boy!! You just described Takatoku's 1/100 Destroid Converion Kit.
  23. Very, very nice work indeed. Kudos to all!!!
  24. If that's the case then the MPC Alpha is basically a mass produced scratchbuild, recast, of a recast, of a recast!!! It seems Toynami completely missed the boat on conducting a final QC, 100% inspector approved process, to ensure pure quality of their product. What a bunch of yahoos. From my experience with Gakken, I think it really just lacks poseability, and nothing more. Details on the Gakken are just fine as they are given IT IS A TWENTY YEAR OLD ORIGINAL TOY, and not just a copy. But hey, to each his own.
  25. 326489[/snapback] Cripes!! I hope those are decals your applying. That 1/72 could really put a strain on the eyes. Great Job!!!
