You’re getting warmer. At least color wise.

Crazy thing though. Released in 1985.

International. Just not sure how many markets it was sold in.

1. Yes. From a Jetfire mold. 2. Yes. Not homemade.

I wonder if Bandai will take a roll and sell CF-1As with discounts available for purchasing bundles of 6 or more.

I would have figured you would buy a dozen. 5 MIB, 5 to open, 1 1S custom, and 1 1J custom. Sure. Why not.😊

I believe there is a tie in from the orginally produced MB Jetfire (Macau) and the later origin of the Hergoss (Macau). https://20thcenturytoycollector.com/posts/2013/03/03/european-ultra-magnus-1987/

Produced by Savie Toys in Macau, France. The toy was released in 1987. The mold was a retool with extensive bulking of the VF-1S from Takatoku. On the box a prototype is shown having many parts and stickers from said 1S. Sticker on the legs say UNSPACY and the circular thruster decals are the same type. The manufactured versions of the Hergoss have circles with lightning bolts instead. And the leg stickers say HS ESPACE. There are two boxes released and each has a respective version. We can refer to each as “027 Valkyrie” which has blue paint apps and the other “Walkyrie” with blue paint apps that carry a darker and purplish tone. A catalog exists showing all the Savie Toys released for 1987, promoting a finished sample.

Just by looking at the nosecone and knee silhouettes, apparently there have been some liberties taken.

Finally, I have the elusive Hergoss HS-1S “027 Valkyrie” and “Walkyrie” Pretty damn happy with these. And they go well with my new DX.

Thanks for the clarification everyone. As we get older we need to be more diligent in preserving the history of Macross, in any form. As time goes by, we for… Wait! What was I talking about? 😁

Did the metallized Mac7 VFs come with CC offers? For some reason I thought they did.
