Wow! Nice fill, Will. Enjoying every step of this build. The part I really liked the most is how eventhough you received a subpar kit, you never seemed to complain. You just kept on going and doing what you do best...Amaze us all with you talent.

While that may be true the VF-0 does stand on its own accord. The design is supposed to be the forefront to the VF-1. I know how you feel about the design, but up until recently I have really become quite fond of the VF-0. Something about it is just so appealing, I think it has more to do with the style of the mech itself. A definite must have for me.

Would they still retain their original shape over time? Or are you plannig to reinforce them somehow? I think replacements would be a better and more suitable solution.

Damn QC! If the CF heatshield is not available as a replacement, you can always get a heatshiled from another valk. I know it's not the same thing, but at least it will be complete. Just a donor heatshield and paint, that's all you need.
