I would be all for this. Especially if they actually made them in the blue color Hasegawa selects for their renditions of the VFs. Just imagining the possibilities.

How could price hurt this???? This one of the nicest set of figure representations around. Quality is outstanding all around, plus you can customize these with other Kaiyodo figures. These do give you a large bang for your buck!!!

PM sent.

Robhy did recasts of them in the past. Alas, they are never more. Or are they????

Well, I finally have the Shin Getter 001 in hand. Let's just say I was thrilled to finally have it, but not that thrilled when I opened it. I purchased the piece expecting more joints like the Evas do, but was dissapointed when I noticed that the only "special" joints are located only in the knees and ankles. The remainder or tilted axis joints that aid in the dynamic poses, but really do limit the extent of what this figure could be if it had all the joints like an Eva. While this should not detour anyone from buying the figure it is still a trully amazing sculpt that has excellent proportions, other than the tiny head. Paint is truly exquisite and clean. Accessories are just right for a figure this size. Price, you can't go wrong with something this small and packs and enormous punch. All Hail Kaiyodo. **Now to find the rest of these little dudes.

I can do this for Pat. There was nver a VF-1S Hikaru Strike. There are only customs. So the actual list would be: Japanese: VF-1A Super Hikaru VF-1A Super Max VF-1S Super Roy VF-1J Super Max VF-1J Super Milia American Robotech: VF-1J Super Max VF-1J Super Miriya VF-1S Super Roy Also, all of the JMs included a Minmei figure.

Wow, that's enough to make four strike valkyries!!

Pac-Man?? WT?? This is beyond lame. Now why does this mofo need pills to shoot ghosts?? Reminds me of The Bottle.

Oooooohhhhh, be still my heart. Those are beautiful. How about a pic of all that wonderful transforming mecha? including the items in the background. This would make for an incredible wallpaper. If that's okay with you. Please say yes.

Nothing as in you??? C'mon folks let's see some customs, in the works. -
Wow, those are exquisite. Are the valks supposed to have bands on the legs??? Arms??? Even if they don't they still look awesome.

And Battlebots was just America\'s version of the british \"Robot Wars\" only less appealing. 402391 Wasn\'t both just radio controlled lawnmowers with nailguns strapped on them? 402476 Pretty much. 402558 that\'s not fair... sometimes they had hammers. 402593 Robot Wars actually banned ranged weapons, so hammers were a rather popular weapon. Except they didn\'t work worth crap. Most popular attack seemd to be a wedge-shaped front so they could run under the other guy and flip him. 402611 Weak. What kind of an attack is that??

Blasphemy! Let us not forget the 15 or so years where there was NO Macross product at any time. 402579 yea... all these companies just waited 15 years for all the teenage fanboys to get all grown up and have careers so they can charge these obscene amounts of money for a toy.... anywho...... i\'m still buying.... eventually... but this fanboy needs to grow up and save up a little more because i\'m pooooooor...!!! 402582 Poor or not, I\'m sure you can live on ramen for a month, just to purchase the next VF-0 installment. Hey, how about I send you 30.00 for the SD kits and at least you\'ll have some money saved for the A. PM me.

How many of you are bringing customs or items to display at these year\'s Con? I currently have a custom in the works and will be presenting it at the Con this year. Last year (my first MWCon) I brought a cake, not as a custom entry, and won a prize. How cool is that. Well, let\'s see some WIP pics or post a mention of what you got planned. Let the fun begin.

What the fcuk! -
Toynami mentioned it at the same time they showed the prototype of the Alpha. IIRC, it was going to be part of the MPC line.
-
Hey you, stop looking and get back to work. You need to complete you customs for the Con. ***Ryuji, how is the progress coming along??
-
No complaints here. I just want these 1/100s. I think most consumers of the Toynami - Robotech / Macross line are just expressing a bit of discontent of previous releases. We can\'t blame them for not being wary of what\'s to come. Hopefully, we will be surprised and content with these new VFs.
-
1/100 Monster. **Sigh** Let\'s hope they (Toynami) come through and deliver a quality product. Of course, this rendition of the VF-1 will not come free of follies, but at least it will be something new and compact. My desk could use a couple of nice display pieces.

The body is already 4 parts, and the main part has alot of parts that are molded in that i would not want people to be forced into molding in themselves. I\'ve considered the fiberglass/mothermold thing, as well as rotocasting...I have not done a lot of mothermold stuff, and while i know how to do it, i know that it slows me down, and at this point speed is more important to me that a few hundred bucks in mold material. I think the new mold configuration will be better and people will be happier. One thing i do not want is for people to not build because of a pain in the butt clean up.... thanks for the suggestions.. mike 402546 Any time bud. Just trying to help. You know, a few pre kit pics sure would be nice.

Generally not no. In actuality I don\'t cuss very often at all unless I feel it\'s warranted. That\'s what annoys me, I\'m not going to cuss unless I really mean it and it kind of kills the meaning of what I\'m trying to say to auto-edit out. Plus as Mr March said it\'s patronizing. We\'re all adults here we can handle people flinging poo. (Besides Max I\'ve been here almost as long as you have) 402326 Since most of us are adults here, why cuss? Isn\'t the point of being an adult also being of sound knowledge and wisdom. If anger or dissapointment is what your trying to conveey by in any conversation, be it verbal or written, then I am sure you can find a mature and comprehensive method of soing so. Cussing is just a lazy form that displays a limited and stunted method of written and verbal communication. If we only need it for the purposes of being funny, then stick to the bleeps and pseudo-words. Like Zentradude\'s comment about how the mind works, with reference to the Jimmy Kimmel Show and the Unecessary Censorship skits, it\'s pretty funny how the mind works and thinks. Remember, we want to remain friendly to all guests and members. Cussing will only ensue an onslaught of slack-jawed yahoos abusing the priveledge just because it\'s allowed. -
That is main body is one BIIIIIIG chunk of resin. Keep up the great work, Mike, you\'re almost there. Have you thought about casting the main body in sections. Seems there would be less worries about space constraints in your tank and you would be able use less material if you used a brushable, more resilient, mold material and a fiberglass mother mold. A bit more work but could make your casting a little easier. Plus, it could help you produce thinner seem lines.

You mean end up like a legendary toy maker of transformable mecha toys?
