  1. .....oh great just what I needed to hear. In other words, just keep playing 'till you get to the inevitable point of no return. These issues constantly keep reminding me of the old Tootsie Pop commercials where no one exactly knows how many licks it takes to get the the center, because everyone always takes a bite and ruins the count. One, Two hooooo, Thrrreeeee....CRACK!!
  2. I think the Moon Act and the Paris Act would have been better suited as the 25th Anniversary Valkyries. BTW, why is the YF-19 a 25th Anniversary item. It came out far later in the series. It's like putting a vintage Apple computer with a G4 and calling them both vintage.
  3. I think in order to do a perfect variable 1/60 VF, Yamato would have to go with a stronger material and scale down the 1/48. Of course some areas would not be plastic at all but die-cast. Parts to really improve on when scaling down would be: - Redesigned BP-8 - Better hands. Could be blockier than the original chicken style hands. - IMHO, remove the swing bar all together.
  4. I like them as well, but a really well thought out and executed revision would be very welcomed in my collection. Doesn't matter which variant, as long, as it's better than the 1.0 version.
  5. mmmmmm......................VF-1D goodness.
  6. Well if Yamato isn't doing it, we might as well do it ourselves. VF-1D is almost here.
  7. The shoulders on mine are actually holding up very well. This also includes the other VF-0(s) I own. Nothing broken or stressed.
  8. Look in the MAGAZINES section of MW under Model Graphics.
  9. Try here1/144 Fully transformable VF-1 with sliding heatsheild..
  10. Finally, this is what I have been looking for.... Almost D-ere
  11. PM sent.
  12. That's not a bad idea. I only started recasting the side covers and accessories, so as to complete the look and feel of my valkyries. I really do like how the side covers, hands, neck-piece, and various other bits, make valk look as it should. VF-1D ****My shop will open soon, better than ever. Just keep and eye out. With all the bells and wistles.
  13. SILVERDRAGON is just taking care of his daughter. Poor guy hasn't slept well in weeks. I'll call him, tomorrow, and ask him to PM you.
  14. It's been done before with the HWR-MK II Monster. Was set to be released, but the price made it unattainable. (IIRC, it was set at 35000Y-40000Y) That was one massive mutha!!!
  15. Graham, please check your inbox. its coming
  16. Well I guess we just have to make our own.
  17. I really hope you're wrong about that. It's not like it's impossible nor improbable.
  18. I agree. It seems that common practice of the Macross franchise is to produce many different mecha, but not all within the same scale. If you see the pattern, you automatically know it's set for all of us to just keep buying and blindly hope that one day any scale would be complete.
  19. Since were on the subject of two seaters... Anyone have line art of the escape capsule of the VF-1D?
  20. It's only bad when you remember them when they were new....and you didn't buy one.
  21. I think Yamato would send replacement paint to vendors to dispribute the paint free of charge to customers. Then the vendors would charge the customers 30.00 plus shipping for (higher content) lead based paint. Basically, we'll just get Yamatoed.
  22. In the magazine section of MW you will find a few CAD drawing of the GBP-1S. I just hope someone out there has an older mag with pictures of what we need. The pics should be around 2000-2001, or maybe 1999.
  23. Can't wait for these to get in. I think I really need to look into some really nice shelves to house these war birds.
