Just a bit of constructive cristism, using black overwhelms the figure and diminishes and warps the scale. Next time, try using grey or an ocre color, leaned more towards a terra color. If you wanted to try and tone down the panel lines use 00 steel wool and scrub your valk to remove and recess the balck a bit more. It would give it a better wash-like effect.

Reds / Arii There is more info here about this and about the 1/35 scale as well. If you paid less than 300.00, I'd say you ot yourself a great deal.

Really nice build. I like the aluminum tubing used for the wing mounted weapons. The kite symbol is a little off.

Actually the VF-0D desing is pretty straight forward. No real suprises making this from the VF-0/A,S platform. It really is a few parts added/switched here or there and moving the cockpit space forward. It just depends on Yamato's willingness to produce it and make it profitable for themselves.

IMHO Megahouse's design is not very appealing. What's with the two white triangles under the chest on either sides of the torso? I hope Beagle can deliver on this design.

These are the only chunkies I love. I still collect more and more of these....I am at about 60+. Not to sound like an a-hole, but I honestly hope the Elint and Ostrich DO NOT get re-issued. I just like the thought of belonging to such a rare club.

Actually there is an old model of the 1/100 VB-6 Monster, I can't recall the name of the company who produced it, but that particular model is the basis of the 1/100 VB-6 Monster produced by Yamato. This model is uber-rare, and a couple of years ago there was an attempt to recast the model for members here on MW. Do a search for it and you'll get a bit of history on this. There is also a HWR-MK-II Monster in 1/160, being the biggest model produced by Imai. Usually these go for about $200.00 plus on ebay. Then there is the 1/200 being the next in line. Good luck.

I just looked over the Macross site and I'm not sure but it seems that it (SDFM) could be aired on TBS, beginning October 3, 2007.
