  1. Has anyone's Getter broken at the torso? I've had my Getter in a flight pose on display for about, as long as I can remember. Then yesterday, I decided I was going to put him away and reposition him back to his orginal standing when packaged. All I can remember is seeing his legs bounce off the floor as I watched in horror. The ball joint located inside the torso bonded to the chest. Damn, this is soooooo F'ed up! Oh well, time to buy another one.
  2. Sands smoothly and easily. It can also be polished to a crystal clear finish.
  3. I'd say, try it on a recasted canopy first. *I'll try to have these in January 2007.
  4. Still waiting on pics.
  5. I think we'd have to get Chris' permission before doing this. I've got a couple of heads for this but without Chris' approval it will not happen. I've also got the heatshield.
  6. Can you demonstrate this procedure with a step-by-step?
  7. 25th Anniversary VF-1S My vote is on this. Roy in the true grey colored valkyrie, with Super/Strike pack.
  8. If Yamato does decide to make the SV-51, I really hope they stick to the anorexic look of the mecha. Engorging the SV-51 would only make it look like a forced fed stick model.

    Warning

This is very bad news. So, could this mean, valks sitting in dry storage in some collectors closet could actually be binding at the hips?
  10. The hands from the 1/48 VF-1 look nice on the 1/55, in either DYRL or TV versions.
  11. In the meantime... This is the dissasembled Toynami VF-1A Max from Series 1. I thought this was going to be a lot tougher. Though most parts can be disassembled, the only parts that can not be pulled apart are the backpack and the upper and lower arm parts. Care must be taken when pulling this apart. Do it slow and steadily. If you don't you'll regret it.
  12. Well actually, the anime color is said to be incorrect, according to SK. The color used on the 1/60 VF-0A CF and Shin are correct and approved by SK. At least we have an almost perfect lineart interpretaion of the VF-0.
  13. The redesign is quite extensive: 1. Chest Plate 2. 3 - parts under the chestplate (How else are you going to make the escape pod?) 3. Backplate 4. Small Trapezoid located on the Backplate 5. Lock piece to hold down the Super/Strike parts on the Backpack 6. Upper half of the nosecone 7. Lower half of the nosecone 8. RIO seat 9. Neck piece 10. Head and all assemblies 11. Canopy 12. Heatshield 13. Intakes on the chest ***There are a few more tidbits but I can't recall at this time. A new pilot with toes lopped off, is not required. I haven't had time to complete this project as I have a new acquired kit that requires my constant attention. Her name is Bela and she's only 2 months old.
  14. Added titles to both previous posts. Thanks.
  15. If your building this and MechTech is building the other vessel... Who's building the SDF-1?? Yamato? Looking great. keep us posted.
  16. Here's another two..also by me. Bandai 1/55 VF-1A(s) TV Max and TV Kakizaki
  17. How about this? Bandai 1/55 VF-1A Low Visibility #207
  18. I think you mean subconciously. And yes, I would agree that it is in BW greatest interest to remain anonymous, and read our posts.
  19. ...And what are you hoping to see there?
  20. Does this mean the Ghost will not be available seperately?
  21. Will this include a step-by-step guide on how to install the ghost onto the VF-0?
  22. Pretty nice builds. I'd sure like to see a Sazabi come to fruition.
  23. Now that's a really great idea, but only if they could add more details.
  24. I agree with Jenius, it has a little too much white. The side profile makes the chest appear larger than the regular blue GBP-1S.
