1. Sorry. Have limited net access now. The Side of the legs are stickers. The markings on the wings are tampo printed though. I hope to see the VF-0A and hopefully the 1/60 YF-19 tommorow at chara hobby. 425989 Is the YF-19 already mocked up??
2. Wow!! Those are pretty cool!! I especially like the 1/144 VF-1J and all that details placed on it. Goddang!!
3. Yup, 1/48 FANRACER. Me too. It's in between a toy and a kit. This will be competely built as a toy. It will. It will. I'm shy. Yup. Don't know. 1 billion dollars.... I'll have more to show in a few days.
4. Thanks. I'm still working on the VF-1D. Found my solution for the low slung 1D head. ...Yet, I'm still working on this. There is one more option I would like to incorporate into this project before it's done. I think I almost have it figured out. I should have a mock up by next week. SEE AVATAR, for other project in the works
5. I think this is just to begin with strong sales. Toynuky likes to see big numbers right away. So if the third installment of valks flops they've already recouped thier investment by pumping out a lot of series 1 and 2. And let's not forget the FAST and Strike packs.
6. Same here. That is one very beautiful build. I just can't believe how small that is. Awesome!!
7. VF-0D sure would be nice. I'm assuming your talking about the 1/72 Hasegawa. I'd say you should give it one more shot. Just take your time and enjoy the process of building. If on the other hand, your talking about customizing a 1/60 Yamato. Then I would say, get someone else to do it. Especially if it's for $100.00. When all is said and done, don't forget to share your pics.
8. So what other customs do you have down the pipeline??? Inquiring minds want to know.
9. Clown version or not. Me wants!!
10. Now it works.
11. According to Toynami... that is NOT the "magic number."
12. Nice start, but the link doesn't work.
13. Cool! Any figher mode pics? 425500 No stickers yet, but here you go. If only they made these in all gray I think the grey would be could, but I would rather go for the dark blue color instead. Nice pics.
14. Nice pics!!! This thread needs a 1/48 FANRACER!!
15. It is. The Yamato Display Stand, in CHROME.
16. Excellent Job!!!! Look clean and lean!!! Go to the "For Sale" threads there are some for sale NOW!!
17. I just got me Set 1. These are awesome to say the least. I like the overall size, look, and feel. They are a perfect display piece to have on my desk. I know there are people out there who disagree whole-heartedly...and to those I say, SHADDAP YUZ!!!
18. 210.00??? Where?? C'mon spill it!!
19. Damn Rob, you almost gave me a heart attack!!!
20. Molds are still nice and fresh. Cleaning is required on these. I decided to leave the flash as it helps to keep an account on all the parts required for both hands. Believe me, it's much better this way. While setting the molds I almost lost several of the tiny original parts twice. Luckily, I keep a clean workshop. So the parts were found. Just PM me if you'd like some. The gundam hands were recasted by NightmareB4Macross. From what I understand on these, they are from the Zabe kit (probably didn't spell that right). They are posable and are on a ball joint. You just have to find a joint to put it in after you cut off the hands on the valk, and you have a perfectly new hand. I will also create the retracted hand shield when it's done, but gotta keep the slides because of the armor pieces. 422284 The hands are from the Bandai Sazabi Kit. They are re-casted with all the individual parts, 11 peices per hand. Great job on that Elint!!!! 422456 Are you still making them or should I just go out and parts rape some gundam kits. HLJ have gundam hands like those but as far as I can remeber they are all fixed ones 422562

22. Hey you!!! Stop being such a window shopper and give in already!!!
23. No stress or tension on any parts. Before I conclude all the mods on this VF-1D to be lineart and anime(magic) correct. I still need to correct the floopy head syndrome and head would hang down so low. I got the head at the stage where it stays nice and tucked cleanly into the fuselage , and still looks nice in battroid mode, it still loose as ever. I'm sure there is a better way to keep it from being so loose. More to come.
24. Well, if they were to produce the Beta (which they arent') the part(s) used to combine the two will be produced alongside with it. Toynami thinks there trully is not enough demand for the mecha. So they just can't justify it to themselves to produce it.
25. There are several parts that need modification. - Heatshield, pegs have to be cut and brought forward towards the nosecone. - The sliding rails have to be extended and the chestplate will also have to be used as part of the rail system. - Backplate, groves are cut in so the heatshiel can slide into the backplate without disturbiing the swingbar and shoulder plates, when in fighter mode. Also this prevents the heatshield from jamming up anyting during transformation. - Small polygon cover of the backplate must be cleared to allow the heatshield to reside in the new backplate groves. This also allow for a perfectly flush fit between all parts in fighter mode. Now everone, it's time to bug Graham. We know it can be done, the new question is "When will Yamato do it?" ***These are just a few of the major changes, that NEED to be done. There a few others minor alterations to make it work.
