  1. I could attempt to build it as a newer version, but I can't justify it to myself. I want this sucker old school so that it rounds out my old Gakken Legioss. You are always more than welcome to create your own updated version of the Legioss and Tlead, just don't fcuk it up like so many have.
  2. I've been contemplating on wether I should build a 1/35 Gakken-style Tled. I know most everyone here is clamoring on about how much they love the Toynami and Aoshima versions of the Legioss (insert sarcasm here), and since we know were getting a 1/48 version Tled I figured I would go retro. I've always wanted a Tled for my old Gakkens and seeing as how I am just about done on the 1/48 VF-1 designs, I figured I'd move into new territory and build something unique. This is just an interest thread to see how many people would be interested in this particular toy-like-model. Of course, I will build it as a toy, but we all now it isn't a toy until it's done ABS, PVC, or vinyl. Yet, will will have ratcheting joints as the old Gakken Legioss. Upon taking on this endeavor I will also work on making updated joint systems for the old 1/35 Legioss to have better articulation throughout the toy. Well, for now let's just keep this as an interest thread and tell me what you'ld like to see in this rendition, but remember to keep it line-art accurate. I don't want this to turn into a Gundam-esque type Tled.
  3. No matter how many times I see this it looks pretty good until you get to the feet? Reminds me of an old Eddie Murphy flick where he sleeps with this woman, whom he considers perfect, until he sees her callouse and bunion riddled feet.
  4. Nice pics rF. Wish I could post really nice and up-close pics of some of my stuff.
  5. Wow this looks great. For me, just upon seeing this pic it totally reminds of Snake-Eyes, but with an updated triwst (not overly exagerrated nor unrecognizable). Great job and kudos to the costume designer. I hope they make a toy in this version.
  6. Sorry about that DA. I should have also noted that the 1/48 mechanics for this particular VF-1D would also be incorportated into the 1/60 VF-1D.
  7. Don't forget spelling. (GRAMMAR)
  8. If indeed the cockpit opens and the scale is true 1/60 then there would be no reasonable explanation why they woulnd't fit. What I'm really wondering is if the armour would be able to be switched around on the different destroids, ala the 1/100 Conversion Kit by Takatoku. That would make for all sorts of interesting customs.
  9. OOOOOOOOooooooo, looks nice and shiny. Keep it up.
  10. I think I'll pass on this. Like it or not, I still think Toysucky's version looks better than this. I am not one to say Toysucky's is great and all but just from what I've seen I'd rather stick with their version. Better dimensions and link-up, on the Toysucky, are what have me sold.
  11. ...vertical stabilizers.
  12. Nah, I'd say blame EXO. It's best for all of us.
  13. Looking good, but the dimensions are really not to par with the lineart. Does the heatshield bind when sliding during transition from fighter to gerwalk to battroid? ***Gander over to my avatar, the valkyrie in the middle is the platform for the VE-1 and VT-1. All the mechanical components are completed except for the heads which I am currently working on.
  14. That's exactly why I've alway posted fuzzy and very small pics of my work.
  15. We all know what kind of potential the VF-1D has. And let's not forget just how difficult is has been to accomplish.
  16. That is already in the works. I am planning on making a "TRUE" perfect transformation 1/48, key workd being "TRUE" in every sense.
  17. Doing this would not be smart for Yamato. They should make it available to the public and then re-issue the entire line weathered like this. I would definitely buy them all over again.
  18. check my avatar....VT/VE-1 platform and VF-1D
  19. If all goes well, you might not have to customize anything. The VF-1D could come from Yamato via my kit.
  20. Back from the grave.... What makes the two seaters possible? Well lots of hard work and labor and an instense amount of hours spent over toiling to create a perfect transformation VF-1D with the possibility of the VE-1 and the VT-1 to follow. For now that is all I can say as the ball is now in Yamato's court. NB4M
  21. Not much of a pose. Just hanging out.
