The hands on the 1/60 look very familiar to Eternal_D's custom DYRL hands. This 1/60 is a must get. For some reason I always thought the top of the missle launcher for the destroid was up to the height of the 1/60 VF-1S headlasers. Can anyone verify the height?

<slap> Dude, this piece is flawless. There is nothing, and I mean nothing incorrect about this incredible custom. Nick's beautiful pics express it all in every imaginable splendor. Exo, congrats and thank you on keeping the 1/48 alive and kicking ass. Screw the 1/60 VF-1.... Seriously Exo, I'd give a hefty chunk of cash to own this bad-boy. Is there anyway to get this recast or is it in large un-recastable parts? Talk to the FX guy and see if there is anyway to make this happen. I am sure there are people on these boards, that would put down some serious bank without quetion, just to own this work of rare art.. I blame EXO.

I have other items that would be of great interest to Yamato, so if the 1D dies the rest will folllow. But this is not my intent nor my vision, I want the 1D available to all, as well as the VE-1 and the VT-1.

If womeone would be willing to dontate these, I would be more than glad to do so.

G-System is definitely top-notch without any doubts. But this particular sculpt screams remake of a certain PVC release. Plus the face appears to be a bit gender challenged, almost to the point of being a transvestite role playing as Minmei.

Yummy, yummy, 1/35 Tlead.....

For now Yamato wants pics, and I have conditions. Why am I posting so much info about what's transpiring??? Well, I would like to have witnesses to talks and records of what is transpiring prior to delivering the goods, not only in pics but in full three-dimensionsial-you-can't-believe-it-goodness. I have talked to several people about registering and patenting the desing but it seems impossible. Since the desing is originally Kawamori's, there is nothing I can do to register this. But in exposing talks I can track and record everyting and anything priod to production and relaese of this design. Also there are no specific designs of how the actual mechanincs of how the VF-1D actually works, so that is where I have leverage and can claim this as mine. Yamato's interest is not only for the 1/48 but for the 1/60 as well. According to Graham the 1/60 is coming in the near future and they wish to incorporate this design. My commitment has always been to produce this for the fans of Macross, and nothing but. If there is a toy company like Yamato who has interest in this design then I hope they look at this with open eyes and ears to deliver this to the fans. ....Yamato, I await your response....

Doh!! Please move to the appropriate location. The Tlead will be Gakken-esque. So the proportions are meant to go in that direction. Not perfect but better than what is currently available. Plus once finished this bad boy should be huge in 1/35!!!

I could attempt to build it as a newer version, but I can't justify it to myself. I want this sucker old school so that it rounds out my old Gakken Legioss. You are always more than welcome to create your own updated version of the Legioss and Tlead, just don't fcuk it up like so many have.

I've been contemplating on wether I should build a 1/35 Gakken-style Tled. I know most everyone here is clamoring on about how much they love the Toynami and Aoshima versions of the Legioss (insert sarcasm here), and since we know were getting a 1/48 version Tled I figured I would go retro. I've always wanted a Tled for my old Gakkens and seeing as how I am just about done on the 1/48 VF-1 designs, I figured I'd move into new territory and build something unique. This is just an interest thread to see how many people would be interested in this particular toy-like-model. Of course, I will build it as a toy, but we all now it isn't a toy until it's done ABS, PVC, or vinyl. Yet, will will have ratcheting joints as the old Gakken Legioss. Upon taking on this endeavor I will also work on making updated joint systems for the old 1/35 Legioss to have better articulation throughout the toy. Well, for now let's just keep this as an interest thread and tell me what you'ld like to see in this rendition, but remember to keep it line-art accurate. I don't want this to turn into a Gundam-esque type Tled.
