  1. Trust me, the building will have no damage.
  2. Wow, this looks far more impressive than the other three destroids. Great Job, as always, John.
  3. Clean, Sand, Prime, Sand, Spray...VIOLA!!
  4. Whatever you saw in the TV show IS what you will see on this VF-1D rendition.
  5. Now that's a silly question...of course, the answer is yes.
  6. Take the figure completely apart and submerge the plastic parts only, in a bath of Pine-Sol for a period of 24 hours. From what I've seen, it doesn't alter nor degrade the plastic in any way. DO NOT soak the metal parts or they will begin to rust.
  7. Uber nice.
  8. The VF-1D will make a special appearance at this year's MWCon. Hopefully, in three different variations: Trainer, Marriage, and CF. Sorry, no pics yet.
  9. I sure have. Oh, I mean I have made a VF-1D with a removable escape capsule that attaches to the arm of any VF-1. It's the only way it should have been. And yes, the seats slide up and out when in battroid mode and the head tilts forward for the ingress. And of course, the heatshield slides as it should. All this and more....
  10. Seeing pictures of so many beatiful 1/55 makes my heart flutter.... 1/55 IS KING!!!
  11. You might want to take a look at these pictures (for better reference) before purchasing anything. The largest valkyrie amongst these group pictures is the fabled 1/48 (supposedly PT).
  12. Daaaaaaaammmmmmn, those are awesome.
  13. Use Datterboy's custom VF-1D. I think it's the best toy representation to date. VF-1D from the Custom Toys Section, Page 5
  14. You cn buy directly from Yamato, but since you are only buying in small quatities you will recieve an "In User" price (which is usually high) and not the coveted "Large Ditributor Price".

  16. What't up Nick? How've you been? He does. There's a pic of it in the latest MWCon thread.
  17. Made in Taiwan, and never produced by Bandai. This Strike Valkyrie is produced this way. There is a second version that is coupled with blue Super/FAST Packs and comes packaged almost like the original. This particular version was also made in Taiwan, Spain, Argentina, and Italy. You just have to do some serious searching and you'll find them all.
  18. Looks like Tinkerbell.
  19. I'd say your assumption is debateable. At this point, it is very hard to say whether the 1/48 price line will become higher or lower. But onw thing is for sure the 1/48 line will become scarce and more difficult to collect. That is, if you haven't already.
  20. Use chrome foil. It reflects light very well. All you have to do is: 1. Cut to desired shape (always leave a little extra). 2. Remove it from the carrier and apply. 3. Use a toothpick to place it into crevices and corners. 4. Cut off the excess with a new sharp blade. 5. Your done. I used this stuff frequently when I would build car models. Works great on bumbers and chrome trim.
  21. I got a few for $40.00 last year, but only kept one. I think retail was actually 90.00, but you have to remember that the Q-rau is rather large. $80.00 would still be an attractive price (this would also be for the Destroids and Enemy Mecha).
  22. I would like to see these release in this order A. VF-1S Roy...This would be the first version to check for problems. Then on to the second versions with all the corrections made: (DYRL) 1. 23. You've got everything mixed up. You should go to the MW splash page and look under the toys section, before posting. It will give you information about vintage toys. Then you'll be able to post a coherent question. The topic, the body, and the pic...none are related. Just trying to help.
