  1. Shoulders cracking? Most of the version 1/100 I have have hairline cracks at the shoulders and the knees. The only one that completely broke off at the shoulder was a custom (which of course is a given). I will be buying the Super/Strike Parts for all the 1/100 I have, just hopefully at a great price. The ones I've seen on ebay are uber expensive considering you pay twice the price for a 1/48 Super/Strike Pack. I just hope Toynami releases the GBP-1S soon.
  2. These are too nice to pass up. The heads still appear a bit funny, but I hope the end result is well worth it. Does anyone know if Bandai will produce their own version of the Konig Monster? I just really like the scheme.
  3. I didn't see a button for "any." "Any" meaning any valkyrie that is free and clear of QC or design issues. I actually love all the Macross mecha, just not all Yamato's renditions there of.
  4. All VF-0S Roy's have a slight yellowish (w/faint green) tint. It's never been fully white. Color matching that has been a real paint when recasting parts for this.
  5. No one's upset. I just think it would be justified for Yamato to conclude all the variants available in the 1/48 version for all the masses. It's not like Max TV 1A won't sell. This version is pure gold and many would love to have one created by Yamato than a home-made custom (myself included). It's great and all that they milk the molds, I for one would continue buying the variants (in multiples) as I always do. Just can't get enough of the 1/48.
  6. Does this mean you have the "Credit Card" Valk and the "Comet...(I can't remember)" valk as well? Got pics?
  7. I hear you, brother. According to Graham, wasn't Yamato going to can the 1/48 molds and move onto the meager 1/60 V.2? I think it's safe to say that 1/48s are not going away anytime soon and the 1/60 V.2 could see limited release (and variants) due to the continued overwhelming response, presence, and selling power of the large scale 1/48.
  8. Finally the molds I made for these replacements are being put to great use. Way to go SILVERDRAGON!! These were made a long time ago...
  9. Great work on adding the sketch and caption. That flyer looks great!!!
  10. That Mikimoto sketch would be an excellent backgorund for the MWCon flyer!!
  11. Indeed. And we are shown a subpar 1/60 V.2 that really could have been much better.
  12. Kit is done, but do to excessive travelling, I won't be able to make it.
  13. Welcome back sqidd! **Did a little alteration to you bad-a$$ bike!
  14. g3173, That is a very cool collection indeed. Wish we could see the rest of the collection.
  15. If you buy enough THs, no need to worry, they've got your back.
  16. Looks like this year I'll be a no-show. Work is hectic, and all this traveling is killing my customizing time. From the way I'm seeing this I'll be out of the country during the Con.
  17. That's a 1990 Bandai Valk with Strike Armor. Could it be that the Strike VF-1S will be released?? Or that item just a filler?
  18. The way I see it, there are way more than just a few parts to modify. If I go about doing this the lazy way like Yamato did on the 1/60 VF-1 V.2 then there would be no point in me ever doing this.
  19. But of course. I can't have a PT without this little thingamajiggy working without that do-dad.
  20. Thanks. Yes the ladder is scratchbuilt (to a certain extent). The steps are pre-fab from Plastruct in 1:48 or "O" which is actually 1:43.
  21. You should really connsider weathering and washing these. Also they need a serious douding of dull coat. AWWWWWWWE MY EYES!!!
  22. Keep dumping them, I'll just keep buying them. No other scale looks better than a 1/48 VT-1. With all the goodies..............................
  23. Yamato will make another version that is wonkier than it predecessor (spelling). This is not a prophecy but an omen.
