  1. Doing this would not be smart for Yamato. They should make it available to the public and then re-issue the entire line weathered like this. I would definitely buy them all over again.
  2. check my avatar....VT/VE-1 platform and VF-1D
  3. If all goes well, you might not have to customize anything. The VF-1D could come from Yamato via my kit.
  4. Back from the grave.... What makes the two seaters possible? Well lots of hard work and labor and an instense amount of hours spent over toiling to create a perfect transformation VF-1D with the possibility of the VE-1 and the VT-1 to follow. For now that is all I can say as the ball is now in Yamato's court. NB4M
  5. Not much of a pose. Just hanging out.
  6. Wow, everyone's been busy doing something. I just got these. Completed VF-1D, as seen on TV! And the humble beginnings for both the VT-1.
  7. Yeah right, closet-case.
  8. You could still salvage what you've done and extend the cockpit back then reduce the length of the chest hump. I'd love to see what you come up with on the VF-1D. Would you consider doing just the chest, cockpit, head, canopy, and heatshield? Or are you going to go all out with the removable escape capsule, sliding heatshield, sliding seats, yadda, yadda, yadda....? I've got one done already just waiting to get some time available to recast this as a kit (and finish my last orders). Looking great, keep on going.
  9. Looking good, but I hate to have to say this....the cockpit looks very short. Also, the hump on the chest is too long.
  10. Do an extensive search, I remember Jung had done some insane customs (Strike Max and Milia with all kinds of modifications) back in the ol' days. Search ya la bastid, search.
  11. Screw priorities, I'll just get 'em as they're released. 2008 RIP Closest Friend, Provider, Confidant... ...my Wallet> I'll miss you buddy.
  12. Wow. And missing another man doesn't make you a girly-man, or better yet a sphinkter-fairy?
  13. Oh yeah baby, 1/100 VF-25 to beat down on my 1/100 Toynami VF-1(s). VF-25 - "Bow down, b1tches, bow down!" VF-1(s) - <Sobbing like the little b1tches they are>
  14. Perfect. This would be an excellent addition for a diorama of the final scene where Hikaru is ready to terminate Boldoza. I'm soooo getting this. **I wonder what my wife will think of this? Better get two, one for me...ahem, I mean diorama. And one for my daughter.
  15. This is purely, nothing short of awesome. The details are fantastic. How soon until we see the next Destroid?
  16. Graham, I know it's not the final production, but what up with: 1. The protruding light on the booster tip? 2. The hand covers in fighter, are plugs? Panel lines? 3. Why not just go with two completely different sculpts of the top half of the fuselage instead of shoving the pilot all the way to front? The pilot looks cramped in there. Is he an amputee like the old 1/60 versions?
  17. Boo, to you kind sir. But being that this little gem will be non-transformable and basic. I'd really venture and lean more towards 75-80.
  18. Just notice two things: 1. The head has been weathered after assemly, and shows of a nasty seen line down the middle. 2. The stickers (or tampo printing) are crossed by panel lining. Just look at the Macross kite on the fuselage. Either way, I'm still getting them. Hopefully they come out this good.
  19. Time flies, when you work hard to keep up with Yamato.
  20. Nice, but honestly a waste of money. If Yamato continues going with the 1/60 scale, after the destroids, next would have to be enemy mecha. Even in 1/60 a Regult would be large, but it would be pretty much the same amount of plastc (or less) as as the 1/60 Q-Rau. Not knocking you guys. I'm just saying, too each his own.
  21. Holy Toledo!! I'd buy everything else but those 1/200 figures. If they can make then in 1/200, wouldn't you think, it would only be a matter of time before they produce these in 1/60 Variable Goodness? That 1/60 Tomahawk looks fantastic. And what's this? No "artistic freedom." The blockiness makes it appear perfect for what's intended, heavy ground pounding artilery destroyers. 1/48 VF-1S with "weathering", perfect for Roy's final battle. Personally I never was into the grey version of Roy's VF-1S. Hope it comes with matching Strike and Fast Parts.
  22. Ha, Ha, Ha... Damn that was funny. Looks like the kid in the first two commercials shoot his tooth out.
  23. This will exist completely seperate from Cap'n's Conv Kit. The dimensions of this version are unique to this kit. You'll see it in due time.
