  1. There slight changes that have made this a better, but still not PT, VF-1. I'm just not loving the locking peice for the backpack. Oh well, I guess. Once Yamato is done taking our money for the second version of the 1/60 VF-1, they will announce a second version of the 1/48 VF-1. This time around, instead of Graham dropping a hint with his sig of "Saturation Penetration," it would read "Non-Lubrication Penetration." :o:wacko:
  2. While Graham, did say this new version of the 1/60 was designed to accomodate the two-seaters, I would have to see it before believing.
  3. [*]Why would you want to keep an inferior toy when there's something better available? To keep reminding you of how much better the new toy is. [*]Why would you want two complete collections of VF-1's in the same scale? Because your a hoarder. [*]Not everybody has the space to display two complete collections of 1/60 VF-1's You can always dump out that old box spring and sleep on the boxes of the old VF-1 1/60s. [*]Some people will have to fund the new 1/60 line by selling their old collection. Sell your blood. It would hurt a lot less than trying to dump the old 1/60s.
  4. Not another one these "Wishlist" threads.
  5. You can still make it and cosplay at the same time. Just bring the little one dressed as baby Komilia.
  6. Looks pretty good. What types of paints did you use? Is this a bootleg or a reissue Bandai?
  7. Looking good, Mike.
  8. Awesome. There are also two builds from the series DUNBINE. The two are Drumlo and Billbine.
  9. If you do use footage from the TV show for VF-1D graphics.
  10. Ha, ha, ha. I never noticed that, either. Funny stuff. It will only sprout another cockpit if you buy two kits.
  11. Contact Reprolabel.com they have all the TF stickers you can imagine. And prices are fair.
  12. Trust me, the building will have no damage.
  13. Wow, this looks far more impressive than the other three destroids. Great Job, as always, John.
  14. Clean, Sand, Prime, Sand, Spray...VIOLA!!
  15. Whatever you saw in the TV show IS what you will see on this VF-1D rendition.
  16. Now that's a silly question...of course, the answer is yes.
  17. Take the figure completely apart and submerge the plastic parts only, in a bath of Pine-Sol for a period of 24 hours. From what I've seen, it doesn't alter nor degrade the plastic in any way. DO NOT soak the metal parts or they will begin to rust.
  18. Uber nice.
  19. The VF-1D will make a special appearance at this year's MWCon. Hopefully, in three different variations: Trainer, Marriage, and CF. Sorry, no pics yet.
  20. I sure have. Oh, I mean I have made a VF-1D with a removable escape capsule that attaches to the arm of any VF-1. It's the only way it should have been. And yes, the seats slide up and out when in battroid mode and the head tilts forward for the ingress. And of course, the heatshield slides as it should. All this and more....
  21. Seeing pictures of so many beatiful 1/55 makes my heart flutter.... 1/55 IS KING!!!
  22. You might want to take a look at these pictures (for better reference) before purchasing anything. The largest valkyrie amongst these group pictures is the fabled 1/48 (supposedly PT).
  23. Daaaaaaaammmmmmn, those are awesome.
