  1. VF-1S and Strike Pack I've located this set, but the GBP-1S and VF-1J is similar. Same blue box.
  2. I think it's just a re-issue of the VF-1J with Super Parts. The only bundle set (IIRC) to appear was the TOYS 'R US Japanese release in a big blue box. It was a VF-1J and GBP-1S both in standard boxes.
  3. Awesome!!!! Great job, hope it makes it (complete) to the Con. And don't be lazy, finish this and the Tled.
  4. I don't like you. My birthday is coming up, send me the Mospeada. Just kidding, even I wouldn't give that to my worst enemy. Seriously, I wouldn't put it past someone (ei: A!@#!*209, orange@#$, etc...) to sell these as new without disclosing any defects of the product.
  5. I thought the clip shield was an after thought for the '84 Strike Valkyrie. It did come with the VF-1A but not the Strike. The red clip shield would be purchased seperately. If xstoys is around, he can give us more insight on this plus a picture of the clip shield.
  6. Are you posting while drunk? If not, then you should. You'd more likely see a two seater Focker being liquored up, than Yamato ever producing it. *******C'mon stick to the thread.
  7. Seems a bit too premature to with the VF-1J, but I could be wrong. I'm leaning more towards Max 1S Strike and then Hikaru 1S Strike, or vice-versa.
  8. Yes and No. The kit will be available at MWCon 2008 and thereafter. This kit, while started with CA's Conv Kit, doesn't really share parts with Cap'n's kit. There a lot of new parts. Just look at my avatar. **HEY KICKER HOW ABOUT SOME SHOTS IN GERWALK MODE?
  9. Any updates?
  10. Did anyone happen to notice the hands at the end of the commercial? Looks to be the resized DYRL hands released with 1/48 GBP-1S. So are the hands removable? Also, it seems that the legs telescope at the knees. I could be wrong, but it looks like they do. Plus it appears Yamato decided on the old 1/60 style feet. They are very apparent from the way you can see the pivot points, during the transformation sequence form fighter to G-E-R-W-A-L-K.
  11. Damn, I really need to catch up. I was up to episode five... gotta catch up. This is a real gem of a series.
  12. Hi Paragon, Welcome to Macrossworld. Those are really nice cardmodels. That VC-33 looks killer.
  13. Did the oven cleaner change the plastic? Softer? Brittle? Anything? Never tried this. Might be something new for me to try.
  14. Check my avatar and profile pic.
  15. I really do enjoy seeing this custom. Datterboy had it down smooth. Clean and simple. Looks factory issued.
  16. It's wayyyy beyond this stage.
  17. Hey, What's the update on this?
  18. I'm saying it isn't. Please, continue molesting your 1/48s. You perv! <Note to self> Never let EXO near any of my 1/48s.
  19. 1/55 Thunder Hummer This is the only version I've known of. Geez, Wicked Ace, what kind sick joke are you playing.
  20. Well, that's what they said about the 1/48 line. Yamato was ALWAYS stating it was PT (just look into the magazine section). Now we have Yamato claiming this is PT. If the first attempt, if it was true PT then there should never have been anything after the 1/48 VF-1. And here is a little info should anyone have any doubts of what PERFECT means: Word: per·fect Pronunciation: \ˈpər-fikt\ Function: adjective Etymology: Middle English parfit, from Anglo-French, from Latin perfectus, from past participle of perficere to carry out, perfect, from per- thoroughly + facere to make, do — more at do Date: 14th century 1 a: being entirely without fault or defect : flawless <a perfect diamond> b: satisfying all requirements : accurate c: corresponding to an ideal standard or abstract concept <a perfect gentleman> d: faithfully reproducing the original; specifically : letter-perfect e: legally valid 2: expert proficient <practice makes perfect> 3 a: pure total b: lacking in no essential detail : complete cobsolete : sane d: absolute unequivocal <enjoys perfect happiness> e: of an extreme kind : unmitigated <a perfect brat> <an act of perfect foolishness> 4obsolete : mature 5: of, relating to, or constituting a verb form or verbal that expresses an action or state completed at the time of speaking or at a time spoken of 6obsolete a: certain sure b: contented satisfied 7of a musical interval : belonging to the consonances unison, fourth, fifth, and octave which retain their character when inverted and when raised or lowered by a half step become augmented or diminished 8 a: sexually mature and fully differentiated <a perfect insect> b: having both stamens and pistils in the same flower <a perfect flower> — per·fect·ness \-fik(t)-nəs\ noun synonyms perfect whole entire intact mean not lacking or faulty in any particular. perfect implies the soundness and the excellence of every part, element, or quality of a thing frequently as an unattainable or theoretical state <a perfect set of teeth>. whole suggests a completeness or perfection that can be sought, gained, or regained <felt like a whole person again after vacation>. entire implies perfection deriving from integrity, soundness, or completeness of a thing <the entire Beethoven corpus>. intact implies retention of perfection of a thing in its natural or original state <the boat survived the storm intact>.
  21. Exo, Wait a minute, first you kill the 1/48 line and now you're killing the 1/48 customs? Oh, for shame. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
  22. There is something fishy about the transformation sequence. When the video shows the valkyrie transforming from gerwalk to battloid, it begins with a brief display of the bottom view, but there is no head present. Then it goes through the tranformation to battloid and at this point the chest and the back are completely closed to form the body, still no head shown. Finally, out of thin air the head appears. I know animagic is involved in the TV show and the Movie, but now real life?? Or does the head have to be removed for transformation?
  23. I can never get enough of seeing those custom Imai-Jung Chao builds.
  24. Awesome, this is something I am really looking forward to having progress pics.
  25. Graham, Is the strike cannon removable? I don't see the FP tip.
