  1. Wow. And missing another man doesn't make you a girly-man, or better yet a sphinkter-fairy?
  2. Oh yeah baby, 1/100 VF-25 to beat down on my 1/100 Toynami VF-1(s). VF-25 - "Bow down, b1tches, bow down!" VF-1(s) - <Sobbing like the little b1tches they are>
  3. Perfect. This would be an excellent addition for a diorama of the final scene where Hikaru is ready to terminate Boldoza. I'm soooo getting this. **I wonder what my wife will think of this? Better get two, one for me...ahem, I mean diorama. And one for my daughter.
  4. This is purely, nothing short of awesome. The details are fantastic. How soon until we see the next Destroid?
  5. Graham, I know it's not the final production, but what up with: 1. The protruding light on the booster tip? 2. The hand covers in fighter, are plugs? Panel lines? 3. Why not just go with two completely different sculpts of the top half of the fuselage instead of shoving the pilot all the way to front? The pilot looks cramped in there. Is he an amputee like the old 1/60 versions?
  6. Boo, to you kind sir. But being that this little gem will be non-transformable and basic. I'd really venture and lean more towards 75-80.
  7. Just notice two things: 1. The head has been weathered after assemly, and shows of a nasty seen line down the middle. 2. The stickers (or tampo printing) are crossed by panel lining. Just look at the Macross kite on the fuselage. Either way, I'm still getting them. Hopefully they come out this good.
  8. Time flies, when you work hard to keep up with Yamato.
  9. Nice, but honestly a waste of money. If Yamato continues going with the 1/60 scale, after the destroids, next would have to be enemy mecha. Even in 1/60 a Regult would be large, but it would be pretty much the same amount of plastc (or less) as as the 1/60 Q-Rau. Not knocking you guys. I'm just saying, too each his own.
  10. Holy Toledo!! I'd buy everything else but those 1/200 figures. If they can make then in 1/200, wouldn't you think, it would only be a matter of time before they produce these in 1/60 Variable Goodness? That 1/60 Tomahawk looks fantastic. And what's this? No "artistic freedom." The blockiness makes it appear perfect for what's intended, heavy ground pounding artilery destroyers. 1/48 VF-1S with "weathering", perfect for Roy's final battle. Personally I never was into the grey version of Roy's VF-1S. Hope it comes with matching Strike and Fast Parts.
  11. Ha, Ha, Ha... Damn that was funny. Looks like the kid in the first two commercials shoot his tooth out.
  12. This will exist completely seperate from Cap'n's Conv Kit. The dimensions of this version are unique to this kit. You'll see it in due time.
  13. Pretty much the whole paragraph. IMHO, it would have been nice to make references between lineart and product differences. I understand how dissapointing this toy is, but you haven't given it a chance to demonstrate its short comings when basing knowledge from a show that has no tie in to what CMs was trying to acheive. If anything, you could remove this paragraph altogether or just add it to you conclusion. Thanks for hearing me out.
  14. Has anyone built this kit?
  15. From you site: "The packaging is a bit annoying in the difference between the two boxes appears to only be a red(Stick) or green(Ley) square on the front. Also, wasn’t his name Ray? At any rate, the toy comes with some extras, namely a green plastic twig meant to be a display stand (taped to the back of the tray as pictured below), some replacement locks for the metal bars (that’s the pieces with the stand), and some tiny storage bins like the ones always shown falling off the bike when it transformed in the show. Stick’s toy also comes with a separate hand holding his big rifle which is a bummer to me since the rifle can’t be removed and put on the front of the bike (like Scott does in The Shadow Chronicles). Also, if Stick has that extra why doesn’t Rand have a hand holding a Gallant? The twig-like “stand” does a half-decent job but a real stand could have added a lot to the range of cool poses that could have been done. As it is this stand is more a neccessity than an extra as the toy is rather back-heavy in armor mode. Decals aren’t necessary but the instructions definitely are. Too bad we don’t get extra helmetless heads to swap on." This sounds more like whining than a review. Also you might want to stick to the appropriate reference point, these are Mospeada toys and NOT Robotech toys. Anything that occured in the Shadow Chronicles should remain there an not pertain to these renditions. Just how does the CMs figure compare to the Gakken? It doesn't, the Gakken is definitely in a league of it's own. My two cents.
  16. Think Macross Zero.
  17. Then that would be two destroids. The cheyene and the monster
  18. Almost finished, nah, just strike the almost. Come to the Con and find out for yourself.
  19. A two seater sure would be nice.
  20. Sign me up for everything but the Tourney. I'm waaaaaaayyy to rusty to play.
  21. Expired? Mr. March, bring it back.
  22. Damn, the legs on the YF-21 are very long! Interesting, to say the least. I might have to pick up a set just for fun.
  23. Sounds like you've got a lot of work to do. Just don't stop. It's taken me a really long time to finally make the VF-1D work perfectly. Hopefully you can finish just in time for this year's Con.
